My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was just good enough to sustain its presence in a convention center, but it was not good food. I would advise against stopping here on a random visit.
The meat in my two tacos was the best part, but the salsa was tasteless, the tortillas unpleasant, the lettuce limp, and the pico wet. My experience at Taco Del Mar was a welcome surprise. After exhibiting at the Flower & Garden Show, I found the convention center's food offerings to be expensive & limited. I was happy to go down 4 floors and discover Taco Del Mar.
The staff was pleasant, and my huge plate of carnitas was delicious and cost below $20 including a drink.
