Value (5 out of 10)

mentioned by 5% of the guests

Looking at the value, theres a definite win for the wonton noodles, with one diner exclaiming the value was absolutely worth it! This positive feedback, one of 1, shines through, even though the overall score for value sits at an average 5. Its interesting to see this positive note amidst a customer satisfaction rate that's a bit low at 33.3%, suggesting a mixed bag.

However, not all items hit the mark on value. The pho, for instance, received feedback that its $18 price tag felt steep, with one person suggesting the serving size needed to triple to be worth it. Great Establishment, Friendly Owners!
I'm laughing at the 1-star review below me; basil is never used here, and I've been here three times now. It's a lovely establishment with friendly owners. The only reason I gave atmosphere a 4-star rating is because they're busy, not to criticize their service. They're a flourishing new restaurant and might need to hire more staff, but that's all. I can't wait for them to grow into their major growth spurt. It's such a great place to revisit every time. Maybe they'll consider a basil tea based off the last review? Lol

Fantastic Christmas Lunch at KinD!
I was thankful that KinD was open on Christmas and I went for lunch with my parents and nephew. We wanted to try a lot of their food and our order included the tofu bites, katsu, spicy wontons, scallion noodles, and the red-cooked wagyu and bone-in short rib noodle soups. Everything was fantastic! If I had to choose favorites: #1 would definitely be the red-cooked wagyu noodle soup which was unbelievable and #2 would be the spicy wontons that they make in-house. My nephew loved the scallion noodles. He also enjoyed the tofu bites and some fries, both of which were freshly fried and crispy. He and I tried the peppermint Ovaltine boba which is delicious and perfect for the holiday season. Next time I want to try their wonton noodle soup since their wontons are fire. Thank you KinD and thanks to our server, Dream, who was an awesome host!

Tasty Noodles, Unique Touches, Friendly Owner
My experience at this restaurant was quite enjoyable, particularly with their tasty noodle soups. While the soup dishes could be a bit larger to satisfy a bigger appetite, the overall quality was good. The prices are comparable to Seattle, around $17 per bowl, which I found a bit pricey. I really appreciated the extra touches like the tea set and gold utensils. The owner was incredibly friendly and focused on community, making for a fun experience.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, largely thanks to Randy, who is a living legend. He graciously let us try a fresh loaf of bread and provided some delicious curry sauce for dipping. I hope we can keep this wonderful place in West Seattle.
