My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It seems to be a well-kept secret, as it's rarely crowded for dinner, though I imagine it's popular with UCSF staff during lunch. The food is excellent and not expensive. The staff is friendly without being imposing. I suspect it's a husband and wife team in the kitchen. My favorite sushi rolls are the Lady in Red and Caterpillar, but everything I've tried has been superb. I've also enjoyed their Bento Box and Saki.

My experience at this cute, family-run sushi place was top notch. On a cold night, the food and hospitality were exceptional, serving all the regular favorites.

My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is super casual, with a handful of tables. The staff was very friendly, though they were a small team. I enjoyed a lunch here, and the recommended dish was Sushi. The price per person was between $10–20.

This is a small little sushi spot that offers fast and authentic food. I ordered a sushi combo and it was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture! The only issue I encountered was that my sashimi had wasabi underneath the fish, which I am not a fan of.

My experience at the restaurant was centered around their spicy salmon poke bowl. I was impressed by the combination of chewy aromatic rice, tender tuna, and refreshing seaweed and avocado. It was a great combination, and I definitely would visit it more!

My experience at this little mom and pop sushi spot was a 3. 5-star one. We ordered the lunch bento box for $15 each and also got three orders of nigiri. The unagi was way overcooked and dry, but the yellowtail was nice. My salmon sashimi was fresh, and the rice was cooked well, though the tempura was a bit over-breaded. The portions are good for a reasonable price. The total bill was $50 after tax and before tip for two bento boxes and three orders of nigiri, which is a very fair price.

My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The fish was incredibly fresh, which was a definite highlight. However, the chirashi bowl was served with way too much rice, and I felt there should have been another piece of fish. Because of the unbalanced portion, I didn't feel it was worth it.

I had a great dinner with a friend at this cute mom and pop sushi place. The 49erRoll is delicious, the miso is great, and the Gyoza is so yummy. I can’t wait to visit again.

This has always been a favorite of mine. I’m boring and usually get the same order every time, but in all those times, I have never been disappointed. The Lady in Red roll is one of my all-time favorites from any sushi place. Chef Paul is so friendly.
