My experience at this restaurant was exceptional, placing it in my top 3 for sushi in the city. Everything from the packaging, freshness, and flavor to the creativity and delivery scored higher than dozens of other spots my family has ordered from. The food was outstanding, and the overall experience was highly positive.

I ordered the Gozilla Roll because it was advertised as Buy 1 Get 1 Free. However, I only received one roll, which was very misleading and left me feeling disappointed.

My experience at this restaurant was a bit disappointing. I might have ordered the wrong thing, but the food wasn’t that great. While the presentation was nice, the portion sizes felt pretty small for the price. The service was a bit awkward as the staff didn’t speak much English. Overall, the experience was just okay.

My experience with the #301 - 6pc sashimi combo was disappointing. The tuna and salmon were mid-tier, but the albacore was particularly concerning. It looked sickly, with pale meat and a yellow coloration that reminded me of week-old chicken breast. The fish cuts were also very thin, and there were large portions of rice. The slicing was sloppy, as if done with a ridged knife.

Recently moved to the neighborhood and finally gave it a try for my mom's birthday. My experience was great! The staff was wonderful, and the food was tasty. I also felt the price was decent given the current tough times. I will definitely be coming back!

My experience at the restaurant was mixed. For such an expensive roll, the crunchy roll was not good 👎🏼👎🏼. I'm giving it a 3-star rating because the bento box was okay.

My experience at Yama has been consistently positive. Yama is a neighborhood institution that has been around for a long time, and it's great to see they are still thriving. The service is stellar; the staff has always been attentive when I've dined in. On one occasion, when a roll was forgotten during a busy pickup order, the owner personally delivered it with complimentary gyoza. While the dishes are a bit expensive for the portion size and ingredient quality, Yama frequently offers exciting new deals and dishes, such as text reminders for discounts like 15% off online orders for International Sushi Day. They are a reliable standby.

I ordered takeout and when I got home, one item was missing. Since I couldn’t come back, they delivered my missing dish along with free gyoza. Such great service!

We absolutely love Yama Sushi! Our favorites are the Fire Bomb and the Volcano roll. When we order delivery, it always arrives promptly and in good order.

This is my family's go-to spot. The food, quality, and price are great. I highly recommend!
