My husband and I stopped here for lunch before checking into our hotel and we were seated pretty quickly. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the jalapeño burger. We chose to sit outside and had to keep an eye out for the pigeons and seagulls. When the food was brought out, the waiter noticed the sun was hitting us directly in the face and he offered to move us so we’d be in the shade. It was very thoughtful of him!

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! We started with the Wipeout Nachos with steak, which were hands-down our favorite appetizer and perfect for sharing. For my main, I ordered the El Pastor Burrito, and it was packed with flavor in every bite. My wife enjoyed the Baja Fish Tacos, describing them as delicious and the best cod she's ever had. Overall, the food was great, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was fun. It's definitely a spot we'd come back to!

My experience at Wipeout Bar & Grill on Pier 39 was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was honestly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. The fish was encased in a very thick batter with barely any actual fish inside, making it inedible. I ended up only eating the fries, which were just average and nothing special. I was expecting fresh and delicious seafood from a seaside restaurant, but it tasted more like cheap frozen food. It was a really disappointing experience, especially considering the prime location.

We visited the city for Fleet Week and decided to grab a late lunch around 3: 30 PM. The restaurant was packed, but we've enjoyed it before. The kids loved their fish and chips, which they devoured. I had the hot honey chicken sandwich, which was substantial. The fries were good, and the sandwich itself was very enjoyable with plenty of pickles and coleslaw. The chicken was tender and a real piece of chicken, not a pre-made patty, which was a plus. The spice level was subtle and pleasant. My only critique of the sandwich was the limited amount of hot honey; the small taste I got was delicious, but it needed much more. My wife ordered the calamari and fries. It arrived a bit late and was very hot, suggesting it might have been in the warmer. Unfortunately, the calamari was overcooked and tough, though the taste was okay. Overall, three out of four meals were quite good. We've had the calamari before, and it was excellent, so perhaps they were just unusually busy. The atmosphere and service were both rated highly.
