Cozy Lunch Spot with Great Options
My experience at this restaurant was pretty good! I enjoyed the lots of options available. I got the hot dog, a soda, and some crinkle cut fries, and it was very filling.
The cozy environment made for a nice lunch spot if you're nearby.

Favorite Go-To Spot in SF!
I've been to this restaurant about three times since moving to San Francisco. They offer a nice selection of food on the menu at great prices, and it tastes good. The atmosphere is cozy, and the customer service is wonderful.
It's one of my favorite go-to places to eat in San Francisco.

Corn Dog & Soft Serve Heaven!
My experience at this restaurant was a delightful surprise! I found it to be CORN DOG & SOFT SERVE ICECREAM HEAVEN! The staff was very nice, and while the eating area is small, it's both quaint and offers indoor & outdoor seating.
Parking is a bit of a challenge as it's very limited, but public transit is conveniently located just a block away. The prices are a major plus, being very reasonable and lower than most diners. It's also a great spot for families, with kid-friendly food & dining area.

Feels Like Home, Classic American Favorites
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly positive, making it feel like home. The staff, especially the ladies at the counter, were very friendly and always had a big smile. They remembered me, and I remembered them, which created a wonderful rapport.
The cuisine is classic American favorites, including burgers, hotdogs (which are some of the best in the city, in my opinion), chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, milkshakes, and fries, including curly fries. They have a reward system if you sign up, and I've collected free fries before. The place itself is shaped like a cable car, a timeless design.
You can order at the counter or at a digital kiosk, but I recommend ordering at the counter to develop that rapport with the staff, which is one of my favorite parts of coming here. It reminds me of what Bob's Big Boy was to David Lynch, and I'm sure he would love this place as well.

Good food, small space
My experience at this restaurant was positive, despite its very small size and limited seating. The food was good and met my expectations. I was particularly impressed when they turned my large fries 🍟 into almost a bag full, which was a pleasant surprise.
The service and food both received a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere was also rated highly at 5.

Good Burgers, No Frills
My experience at this restaurant was that of a classic "hole in the wall" joint. It serves up burgers, dogs, fries, and milkshakes. The price is fair, and the portions are large.
The people who work there are nice. It's not gourmet or artisanal, but it offers good burgers served out of a tiny cafe with plastic seats bolted to the floor. If you're into that kind of thing, you won't be disappointed.

Classic Burger Joint Experience
My experience at this old-school, long-time burger joint was fantastic. I enjoyed a cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate shake, which is my ultimate comfort food. The food was excellent!
The service was also really friendly 🙂.

Classic Diner Delights & Amazing Malt!
My experience at this restaurant was a delightful trip back in time with its old school vibes. I was craving fried shrimp and fish, and this place certainly curbed that craving. While I wished they offered a half-and-half combo for the fried seafood, the highlight was undoubtedly the banana malt milkshake.
It was SO GOOD! It's so hard to find a good banana milkshake, and this one is a true classic. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5/5 rating.

Charming Dingy Burger Joint Perfection
My experience at the small and charmingly-dingy Tony's Cable Car Restaurant was fantastic. It's the best type of burger joint: no frills, just American classics done well at affordable prices, served with a smile. The pickles on the small burger delivered the perfect zing for the salty patty, and my small sundae was the perfect compliment.
I give it a 10/10!
