My experience at this little restaurant was wonderful. The food was incredibly fresh. I particularly enjoyed the lemon chicken and fried rice, which are my favorites. The service and atmosphere were both excellent, each receiving a perfect score.

My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. If you're looking for a place where you can feel at home, be seen, and be well-fed, this is the eatery for you. As someone who sticks to what they know, I can confidently recommend everything I've ever ordered: the lunch specials, the broccoli beef, the chicken chow mein, and the won ton soup. Even the rice and Sprite have a special vibe. It's heartwarming to hear Christine's husband working in the kitchen, preparing our wonderful food. Today's won ton soup was particularly memorable, featuring crisp zucchini, firm shrimp, vibrant green spinach, water chestnuts, bamboo, a golden broth, and pillowy pork won tons that truly revived me on a chilly day. This place offers great food, reasonable prices, and that certain something that leaves you feeling genuinely nourished.

For example, the outer skins of the shrimp tails were meticulously removed by hand, not just cut off. The service was also a highlight, with Christina being very friendly. My experience at Tenglong's was fantastic, especially when it came to their wings. They are my absolute favorite in the city and a must-try. I've had a lot of Chinese-style fried chicken wings, but these are by far the best! The rest of the menu is also extremely good.

My long weekend walks across the City always lead me to Teng Long for dinner, and it's a ritual I cherish. I almost always order the garlic sautéed string-beans with pork. It's a simple dish, but the chef here elevates it to utter perfection. The owner, Christina, is a delightful and friendly presence, welcoming both regulars and new customers with genuine warmth. This familial, human connection, combined with the feeling of home cooking, is why I return time and again. I've also tried their barbecue wings, and the glowing reviews are absolutely accurate. Highly recommended, especially among the many Chinese restaurants on Clement Street and in the Inner Sunset.

Yikes. I had heard the wings here were really good. Came in at 3pm on a Saturday. Not only did we wait close to 30min for our food, but for $17 we only got 4 chicken wings. For another $17 we got a plate of mixed vegetables with the blandest broccoli, carrot, cabbage, and zucchini I've ever had. I've eaten that same dish at plenty of Chinese places in SF and at a minimum it's supposed to be fairly savory. The server was clearly a nice person but when we asked for "knives" he brought only one, clearly unwashed knife. They need a different server. They also couldn't pay me to come back.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. This definitely hit the spot as a person who grew up eating Chinese food. The staff at this restaurant are so sweet and go above and beyond! Every dish I've tried at Teng Long is soo good, specifically, the Original Dry Fried Chicken Wings. I can honestly say these are some of the best wings I’ve ever had. It's clear that a lot of love and expertise goes into the preparation. From the great customer service and amazing food, this place has officially become one of my go-to spots! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I visited this restaurant a few days ago for lunch and had a truly welcoming experience. Christina, the host, was lovely and made me feel at home. I dined alone and ordered the chicken chow mein and the original dry fried diced chicken. The food was absolutely amazing, and the portions were generous. I will definitely be returning and hope to bring friends next time to enjoy a family-style meal.

I was craving pork chow mein and decided to try this place based on other reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was far from good. It was New Year's Day evening, and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table occupied. The dining area is small, seating about 8-10 tables. The lady at the register took my order, but seeing the sparse crowd and the general atmosphere, I opted for takeout. I ordered the pork chow mein I was looking forward to and a beer. While waiting, I noticed a person, presumably staff or a family member, slumped by the register with their head down, staring uncomfortably at me. This created a very unhappy and unsettling vibe. When I received my order, I found no napkins in the bag. The chopsticks were flimsy, and the chili sauce provided was a minuscule amount, about one ounce. The food itself was bland and consisted almost entirely of noodles. There were only about three bites of pork and a couple of shreds of carrots. Towards the bottom of the plate, I found a few more scraps of pork and a small piece of green onion. For nearly $20, I expected a substantial amount of meat and vegetables, not just plain noodles. I would have given zero stars if possible. I advise avoiding this place.
