Incredible Value and Flavorful Burrito!
My experience at this restaurant truly lived up to the hype. I ordered the brisket burrito, and the tortilla itself was a standout, reminding me of a delicious South Asian paratha lol. The meat was plentiful and well seasoned.
This <$15 meal was so filling that it stretched over 3 meals for me, offering insane value lmao. While the normal red/green salsa was just okay, the habanero salsa was a game-changer, providing the perfect level of spice and fantastic taste. I also appreciated the self-serve aspect.
I also tried their chicken tacos; the chicken had a unique flavor I wasn't accustomed to, but it was still enjoyable. I would love to come back!

Best Al Pastor in Town!
If you've seen those pop-ups on street corners around town with long lines and flame-broiled Al Pastor on a spit, this is where they come from! This is the best Al Pastor in town! They also offer a variety of other tasty meat options like Carne Asada, Cabeza, Lengua, Tripa, Pollo, and Chorizo, but I personally come here for the flame-broiled Al Pastor.
Once you've decided on your meat(s), you can have it prepared in several ways: Tacos, Torta, Quesadilla, Burrito, Mulita, and Alambre. You really cannot go wrong with any of them, as they all have their own unique flavor combinations. My personal favorites are the straight-up tacos and the mulitas.
So, if you are ever on the hunt for great Al Pastor, do not hesitate! Highly recommend!

Horrible Head Tacos, Avoid!
I ordered 4 tacos: 2 of 'cabeza' (head) and 2 of 'lengua' (tongue). The 'cabeza' tacos were horrible and had a bad smell. Honestly, I couldn't even eat them.

A Brick of Salt
I picked up a chicken burrito for lunch. My experience was that it was like eating a seven-pound brick of warm salt. The food was incredibly salty, making it an unpleasant experience.

Terrible Food and Service, Very Dirty
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food was not good, and the service was poor. To make matters worse, the establishment felt very dirty.
I ended up throwing away most of what I purchased.

Al Pastor Tacos Shine, Other Dishes Disappoint
This place has been hyped up ever since it was just a taco stand on Aurora. Now that they’ve got a brick-and-mortar location, I figured it was time to check them out. They’re famous for their al pastor, and it is fantastic: juicy, packed with flavor, and about as good as a taco al pastor gets.
The other meats, though, don’t hold up. I tried a gringa with chicken and was surprised to find a thick slice of ham in the middle. I’ve never seen a gringa like that before, but I kept an open mind.
It was disappointing. The homemade tortillas are thick and satisfying, and the charred cheese is a nice touch, but the flavor just isn’t there—and the ham is frankly odd. The mulita was also a letdown.
I had it with lengua (beef tongue). While the meat is tender, it lacks seasoning. Same story: good tortillas and cheese, but otherwise forgettable.
I also tried a chorizo taco but the meat was weirdly seasoned and still kind of bland. The horchata, on the other hand, is excellent. If I came back, I’d stick to three al pastor tacos and a horchata and skip the rest.

Mixed Experience: Great Food, Unpleasant Surprise
My first visit was a fantastic experience; I was blown away by how good the food was and enjoyed the fun little bar in the back. The place was jumping on a Friday night. However, my second visit, in the light of day, was disappointing.
Despite the health department rating of “good, ” I encountered ants crawling on the walls and near the salsa bar, which gave me the ick. Consequently, the food was not as tasty to me. It's crucial for any restaurant to control insects and rodents.

Best Tacos in Northern Seattle
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found the best tacos in northern Seattle. The fixings and toppings bar were amazing, especially since the tacos come largely unadorned.
The food was authentic and righteous.

Delicious Al Pastor Tacos!
We visited the restaurant at 6: 30 PM on a Thursday and found little to no line. We ordered the Al pastor tacos. It's important to note that the tacos do not come with toppings; you need to use the self-service toppings bar.
If you're getting your food to go, remember to grab your toppings! The tacos themselves were SOO good. We will definitely be back!

Disappointing Lunch Experience
We were excited to try this restaurant and were very disappointed with the service and the food. We went for lunch over the weekend and the wait time was about 25-30 minutes. We ordered several tacos, a few other items, and 2 margaritas.
The food came out in about 30 minutes and all of the meat was quite dry and relatively flavorless. Our margaritas didn’t come out until well after our food. Overall the entire experience was very disappointing.
