Great Value and Friendly Owners!
I don't normally leave reviews, but the owners here are extremely nice. There is a nice community of regular customers inside, and the prices are very reasonable. The $7 student lunch bowls are spectacular value.

Generous Portions, Great Value
My experience at the restaurant was very positive. The portions were generous and the food was prepared well, all at reasonable prices. I appreciated that they were nice enough to let me substitute the rice for an extra salad on my bento box.
The service was excellent, rated 5/5, and the food quality was also high, rated 4/5. The atmosphere was good, rated 4/5. While parking was difficult, the overall value and quality made it a worthwhile visit.

Delicious Sashimi and Nigiri
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I enjoyed the sashimi, and specifically had a chirashi and a saba nigiri. The total cost, including tip, was $40 in July 2025.

Favorite Sushi Spot in the Sunset!
Hands down, this is one of my favorite sushi places in the Sunset. The food always tastes fantastic, and with the generous portions, you absolutely get your money's worth. The staff is friendly, and every once in a while, they'll even throw in a little freebie nigiri with my order.
I cannot recommend this place enough.

Amazing Food and Service!
I frequently visit for school lunch when they offer a student deal for takeout. Be aware that between 11 am and 1 pm on most weekdays, the restaurant is usually busy with high schoolers inside, who are very sweet to let dine in. I also sometimes come after school, and the full price is quite reasonable.
My usual orders include a sushi combo, teriyaki bowl, or katsu bowl. The portions are amazing and the food is amazing. Every single person serving and preparing the food is incredibly sweet.
I've never had a bad experience here, and I dine here 1-3 times a week.

Appalling Rice Quality and Service
I was craving a bento box and found this restaurant close to my place, but I had never dined or ordered takeout from here until today. Based on the great reviews, I decided to order a lunch bento box to go. When I got home, I was shocked that the little box containing rice was only half full and it SMELLS!
Wow! For a $22 lunch, how dare they give me so little rice that is old and smelly. They think I’m a fool.
I’m Asian and I live on rice my whole life. It’s appalling how restaurants give old food to takeout customers. This isn't the first time this has happened.
Even the rice I cook in my rice cooker doesn’t smell that bad after 3 days sitting in it. I called and complained, brought the rice over to show them, and asked the guy who gave me the rice to smell it. The rice they gave me looked like leftovers from a customer who dined in, saved from a week or so ago.
Yikes! So gross! The guy said the rice was cooked in the morning.
If he thinks I’d believe that, he’s stupid. I told him to smell it and compare it with the replacement rice, which was full and smelled like fresh-cooked rice should. Geez!
I wanted to support a small local business, but if this is what I got; no thanks! I would NEVER EVER ever come to this place again. EVER!
Uff…this kills my appetite!

Go-to Sushi Spot with Great Value
This has been my go-to sushi spot since living in Snohomish for the past few years. Akisan, the main sushi master, was always fun to talk to. All the staff is very friendly and attentive.
The rolls are very fresh and generous portions. I always get the salmon lemon roll and Philly roll, and it's great for the price. I took my daughter there for her birthday, and ordered her the banana tempura ice cream.
They took it off the check and put a candle and lit it for her. Definitely recommend for sushi rolls!
