Closed Early, Small Portions
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Although the restaurant states they are open until 3 pm, when I arrived at 2: 45 pm to place a to-go order, the host, who was not particularly busy, informed me they had just closed. I believe they could have accommodated my order with the food they had available.
Previously, about six months ago, I had a to-go order where the food was delicious, but the portion size was small, and I paid $45 feeling still hungry. Perhaps the host's decision today was a favor in disguise.

Disappointing Sushi Experience
We visited this restaurant hoping to try their sushi, influenced by the positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those opinions. The quality of the fish was merely average, and the portion sizes were small.
The rolls offered no surprises. Given the price point, I expected more than what one might find at a Whole Foods. It's unlikely I will return.

Good Food, Service, but Loud
My experience at the restaurant was generally positive, with enjoyable food and reasonable prices. I particularly liked The Romeo and Juliet roll. The service was good, and I had no complaints in that regard.
However, the atmosphere was a bit loud, making it less ideal for a romantic date night. A minor hiccup was the appetizer arriving after the main course, which wasn't ideal.

Amazing Omakase Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was truly wonderful! We ordered the omakase and were not disappointed. The staff was amazing, and the owner even came over to explain everything on our dishes.
It's a fantastic spot, especially for dinner, with a quiet atmosphere that makes conversation easy. They also have a large vegetarian selection and highly recommend it for vegetarians. Parking was plentiful and free.

Absolutely Delightful Fresh and Flavorful Meal!
I picked up food from this place and was SO delighted! Everything was so fresh and flavorful, with a perfect texture and well-balanced taste. Here’s what we got: The Romeo & Juliet Roll was fantastic, with the salmon and scallops both being perfect and the roll was a large size!
The Tekka Roll & Negihama Roll were just great staples. The Crab Cheese Puffs were honestly the best I’ve had! And the Salmon Toro had a perfect texture and was super buttery!

Extremely Rude Service, No Reservations Taken
My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative due to the rude service. Every time we attempted to make a reservation, we were told, "we don't take reservations, " and then the call was abruptly ended. The people were very rude!

Exceptional Service and Food!
My wife and I had an excellent top-notch food experience, complemented by the best service. The customer service was extremely friendly, which was especially appreciated during this time, as my wife has cervical cancer.

Disappointing Service, Good Food
My experience at the restaurant began with a reservation, but upon arrival, neither my son nor I were greeted. It wasn't until another male customer entered that staff acknowledged anyone. This individual then informed them I was waiting and asked if I had a reservation.
This initial interaction set a negative tone for the rest of the meal, and I've decided to take my money elsewhere.

Cream cheese is the star!
My experience at this restaurant was defined by one key element: you can add cream cheese to any order. This was the most important takeaway from my visit. The food quality, as indicated by the low score, was not impressive, and the service was also disappointing.
The atmosphere received a moderate rating.

Decent Sushi Spot with Atmosphere Quirks
I've only visited once, but my experience at Sushi Sheng was decent. The sushi was good, with no tough seaweed and nicely handmade. The miso soup was delicious, and the prices are reasonable.
There's plenty of seating, and I would consider coming back. I'm still searching for a replacement for K's Kitchen, which was excellent and has closed. I'll need to try more creative rolls next time to see if Sushi Sheng can truly compare.
My main dislikes were the numerous mounted TVs, which I felt ruined the atmosphere, though I understand sports fans might appreciate them. Additionally, the salmon in the Alaska roll was chewy. The waitress seemed a bit brusque, but she appeared overwhelmed.
Overall, it's a good neighborhood spot.
