Told to go away, won't return
I came in to place a to-go order and was told "TO GO AWAY" because they were busy, even though the restaurant was not even full with only 2 tables inside. They could have simply told me they were busy and that the order would take 30 minutes, instead of just flat out telling me to go away 🤦🏻♀️. I have been a loyal customer for years because I live close by.
I guess they don’t want our business anymore. Good riddance!

Authentic Chinese Flavors with a Friendly Touch
I love this place and keep coming back! My experience was fantastic, especially with the food. The Beef Chow Fun is a standout, with generous portions of beef and a strong, authentic wok hei flavor.
I always order the Minced Pork and Mei Cai, which reminds me of Singapore and is quite uncommon in Chinese restaurants in SF. We've also tried other dishes like clams with egg and rock cod with tofu claypot, all of which were homey and delicious. The uncle who runs the place is also incredibly friendly and charming to everyone, which is a refreshing change for Chinese restaurants, especially for non-Chinese speaking diners.

Ideal Mom and Pop Chinese Restaurant
My experience at this restaurant was the platonic ideal of a mom and pop Chinese restaurant. The waiter was the nicest man ever.

Yum! Fast, Delicious Chinese Food
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed the fast and delicious Chinese food that truly hit the spot. The portions were hefty, which is great for leftovers.
I also really appreciated that they took our order just 10 minutes before closing. Thank you!

A Delicious Chinese Secret Worth Sharing
Frankly, I'm somewhat reluctant to share this review because this place is, in my opinion, a best kept secret. While I'm not a food critic, I've enjoyed Chinese food across the US and Malaysia, and this restaurant is my absolute favorite. My family has been coming here for twenty years, ever since we moved in around the corner.
Even though we're now in Daly City, we still make the trip 3-4 times a month. The food is tasty, the prices are decent, and the helpings are good. The veggies are always crunchy.
We usually opt for whatever seasonal vegetable they have in stock (like sweet potato leaves or bean sprout leaves), the hot & sour soup, house fried rice, and mixed veggies. My diet is plant-based, though I'm not strictly vegetarian, so I haven't tried many meat dishes. However, the Mongolian beef, which is generously portioned with onions (just how I like it), and the fish with garlic green beans are both yummy.
The interior isn't fancy, and it can get cold inside. The restroom is a bit dated, and parking can be limited, but the Taraval Line is right outside, which is convenient. These minor drawbacks won't stop me from returning.

Great Chow Fun, Friendly Service
I came here for a solo dinner and ordered the scrambled egg chow fun. The chow fun was fresh and the egg sauce was perfect. Adding red chili oil further elevated the dish.
While the atmosphere wasn't a five-star experience, the customer service was great and friendly. The waiter checked on me several times and shared that the business has been open for over 20 years, with him having worked there for the same duration. He was very friendly and seemed keen on connecting with neighbors in the outer sunset area.
You'll know who I'm talking about if you visit.

Stunning Meal, Excellent Value in SF
I had an absolute stunner of a meal for lunch! The quality and flavor were excellent. It was a great sign that besides us, there were only locals.
Our server, who I believe was the owner, took care of us like we were family. He was funny and made sure we were happy. We were served a complimentary soup to start, which was a flavorful light beef broth with veggies and surprisingly beans.
The food came out quickly and in appropriate waves. The amount of quality food for the price was by far the best we’ve had in SF this week, not even close. We even have leftovers for dinner and lunch tomorrow.
Bravo!

Delicious Chinese Food and Great Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! From the moment we were greeted pleasantly, we received great recommendations on what to order. The house specialty chow fun, black pepper sauce ribs, seafood wonton soup, salt and pepper cod, and pot stickers were all absolutely delicious.
There was enough food for leftovers, which was a great bonus. We'll definitely be coming back soon!
