Delicious Chicken and Soaked Potatoes
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The spicy level was mild and suitable for everyone, even those who are not good at spicy food. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the potato was perfectly soaked into the soup.
It was super delicious.

Mixed Experience: Best Pork, Mediocre Other Dishes
My experience at the restaurant was okay overall. I ordered four items: the Stir-fry Pork with Rice Combo, Cold Chicken in Chili, Xinjiang Stir-fry Noodles, and Dry Pot. The Stir-fry Pork Combo was the best dish.
Unfortunately, the other dishes were pretty mediocre. The Cold Chicken in Chili was the worst, being too heavy on chili oil and using chunks instead of slices, which prevented the flavor from penetrating.

Oily Food, Fishy Fish
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the dry pot had good flavor, the overall food was overly oily. The boiling fish I ordered was a little fishy and didn't seem fresh.
Everything seemed to be soaking in oil.

Amazing Chinese Food, Great Value!
As a Chinese person, I found the food at this restaurant to be amazing. I truly love it; it's the best restaurant in this area. The environment was nice and the restaurant was very clean.
We ordered a bit too much, but the price on the menu was actually very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Delicious Sichuan Food, Great Value!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The Sichuan food was incredibly flavorful and clearly instantly cooked, not premade. I particularly enjoyed the 9.
9 menu, which offered exceptional value. The food and atmosphere were both rated a perfect 5, and the service also received a 5-star rating.

RedPepper: Good Chinese, Declining Service
I've been to RedPepper many times and it's an absolutely good Chinese cuisine spot near UW. The food is generally good, with some spice but not too much. However, both food quality and services seem to have downgraded a bit recently.
The price is a little high, especially considering the tips. The environment could be better, and the service is not as good as it used to be.

Chili Popcorn Chicken Lacked Flavor
My experience at the restaurant was underwhelming. I ordered the chili popcorn chicken, which unfortunately had no flavor and an unpleasant, soapy taste. The customer service was just alright, nothing special.
It was the usual 'what would you like? ' interaction, and the overall experience was unremarkable.

Delicious Dry Hotpot Gem!
This is a hidden gem in the heart of U-District! We ordered the dry hotpot, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, and it paired beautifully with rice.
The portion size was generous—easily enough for 2 to 3 people. We tried a mix of pork belly, beef tripe, beef strips, bamboo shoots, enoki mushrooms, and cauliflower—everything was cooked to perfection and soaked up the sauce so well. Highly recommend if you’re craving something flavorful and satisfying!

Disappointing Meal, Confusing Reviews
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I suspect the meals were pre-made, and the taste was really bad. It's puzzling how there are so many good reviews when my food quality was so low.
The service was decent, rated a 4, and the atmosphere was okay at a 3. However, the food itself, rated a 2, was the major letdown.
