My experience at Pho 808 was fantastic! This Vietnamese restaurant offers authentic flavors. The pho broth was rich and aromatic, served with fresh herbs and tender meat. The warm atmosphere and friendly service made it a wonderful place to enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

I was looking for some good Pho and ventured into the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. It's a pretty gritty neighborhood with all of the homelessness dwelling in the area. But this restaurant serves up excellent Vietnamese food! I had the Bun Bo Hue and it was very tasty and filling. It warmed me up and made me happy. Service was good. Not really liking the neighborhood, but I will be back.

I needed coffee before the First Thursday art walk, and every cafe was closed. Luckily, I decided to walk into Pho 808. I got Vietnamese coffee and Chagio (Imperial rolls) – wow! The coffee was deliciously strong, and the ingredients were really fresh. The imperial roll was veggie-heavy, less meaty, but the fried skin was both crispy and delicate. I asked the sweet owner to refill my water bottle, and she was so gracious and caring about it. Thank you! I will be back, maybe for pho next time.

The food is very tasty. The staff is friendly. I visited the cafe for the first time and really liked it. The cafe is simple, but I recommend it 🫰🏻

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to support this small business. I was hungover and looking for food, and stumbled upon this place online. Honestly, I had no idea what I was getting into, especially knowing the neighborhood. I ordered the Beef Stew Noodle Soup for $16, and it was absolutely incredible – it truly hits the spot! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 I also asked for extra broth because I love soup, and the lady didn't even charge me for it. The soup was amazing and hit the spot perfectly! There was a generous amount of beef and tendon, and it was very tender. The lady (owner?) and her son served me, and they were both so nice. While their English wasn't perfect, they were very kind people. This is the kind of Asian food place where you know the food will be amazing – it fits the description of a 'hole in the wall' with giant numbers on the name and a mahjong table in the corner. The neighborhood itself isn't the best to walk around; it's fine during the day, but I'd recommend using Uber to get in and out.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed the delicious pho soup and the Vietnamese roll. The price was reasonable, and the service was friendly. They truly deserve more recognition. I highly recommend this place!

My experience at this restaurant was wonderful! I loved the fantastic dishes from Vietnam, which offered so much more than just Pho. The owner is a sweet lady who is always smiling and helpful. The meals were inexpensive but also great and healthy.

I visited this restaurant with my 4-year-old son yesterday. The staff member who took our order was very pleasant. However, the pho was not good and unfortunately, it made both my son and me sick.

I was really impressed by how good the food is. We randomly walked in as other locations were not open in the middle of the afternoon. We ordered the dried vermicelli with egg rolls and tomato shrimp soup. Both were amazingly good. My girlfriend said the soup was better than another restaurant we frequent. The location is in upper TL, so there's a bit of outside traffic coming through the doors. The inside is not the most presentable, but I was fine with it. The important part was the food, and it makes it worth it. I love supporting these locations in the TL. This is a true gem.

I’m so blessed to live in a neighborhood full of amazing food, and this Vietnamese spot is one of my absolute favorites. Instead of overwhelming you with a huge menu, they focus on perfecting each dish. Every bite is super flavorful and simply delicious. It’s clear they put a lot of love into their food, and it shows. If you’re looking for a place that delivers the best of each dish, this is it. Highly recommend! 🍜✨
