Solid Casual Bite, A Bit Pricey
My experience at this restaurant was for a lunch meal. I ordered the Pepper Steak, which cost $17. 37 and did not come with fries or a drink. The food was solid but not impressive, and I found it to be not cheap. However, it's a good option for a nice casual quick bite, offering indoor seating and football on TV with a few beers on draft.

Classic Philly Cheesesteak Vibes!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I absolutely loved the classic Philly cheesesteak here. They are generous with the steak, and I always opt for the cheese wiz to get that authentic Philly cheesesteak flavor. The service was consistently friendly, and the restaurant's decorations truly capture the Philly vibe.

Philly Cheesesteak Vibes & Great Root Beer!
My experience felt like being back in Philly! The Amoroso rolls were a highlight. While I'm not usually a soda drinker, I found both the Sprecher and River City root beers to be amazing. I couldn't pick a favorite between them.

Excellent Cheesesteaks and Welcoming Staff
I've visited this restaurant a couple of times, usually when I'm craving a Philly cheesesteak or have a big appetite. The staff here are very welcoming, well-trained, and understanding, ensuring there's never been an issue during any of my visits. Their menu features the original Philly cheesesteak, other cheesesteak varieties, sandwiches, fries, and drinks. I appreciate that everything is made from scratch, which is always a plus for me, and I don't mind the wait as I'm a patient person. You have the option to dine in, order for takeout, or use a delivery app. For dine-in, you can sit at the bar counter or at their tables. This place is a great find because there aren't many cheesesteak shops in the area. I highly recommend this place to all Philly cheesesteak enthusiasts, anyone who is starving, or for those looking to try something new. I will definitely be back to try out the other delicious options they have to offer.

Authentic Cheesesteak Dream in SF!
I recently had an absolutely incredible lunch at Phillies in San Francisco and I'm still dreaming about it! As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I'm always skeptical of places outside of Philadelphia, but this spot completely won me over. I ordered the Rocky Balboa and it was nothing short of spectacular. The sandwich came beautifully wrapped in paper (keeps it nice and warm!) and was perfectly constructed - a soft yet sturdy roll packed with thinly sliced, seasoned steak that was incredibly tender. The colorful mix of sautéed bell peppers added the perfect sweet crunch and brightness to balance the savory meat. What impressed me most was the attention to detail - the meat was perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. The bread had that ideal chewy-yet-soft texture that held everything together without falling apart (a true art!). The staff was friendly and efficient, and the place has that no-nonsense, authentic vibe that makes you feel like you've been transported straight to South Philly. If you're craving an authentic cheesesteak experience in SF, look no further than Phillies. This Rocky Balboa knockout has made me a regular customer for sure! Worth every penny and definitely coming back to try their other variations soon.

Phenomenal Philly Cheesesteak Experience!
I was craving a Philly cheesesteak the other day, and a suggestion from Reddit led me to this place. I ordered 'the works, ' and it completely delivered on everything I wanted and more. It was a phenomenal sandwich. The guy working there was nice too. Parking was easy.

Authentic Philly, Tricky Parking
My experience at this restaurant was marked by good food that tasted pretty authentic. I paid $20 for a Philly and cheese fries, which I found to be okay on price. The most difficult part of the experience was finding parking; it's doable but feels a bit sketchy. The service, atmosphere, and food all received a 5/5 rating.

Mixed Experience at Phillies
My experience at Phillies was alright. I ordered a cheeseburger w/egg for $13, garlic fries for $5. 15, and a can of soda for $2. 50. The burger itself was okay, but the way they melted the cheese on the tomato instead of the patty was a bit unusual. They use shredded romaine lettuce and chopped grilled onions, and even when I asked for raw onions, they came chopped. The patty definitely needed more flavor. Regarding service, I received garlic fries instead of the garlic tots I ordered. I didn't want to waste food, so I kept them. There was also an issue where my food was given to someone else, and that patron had to inform the cashier. The cashier also acts as the line chef. The atmosphere can get loud due to the chef clanging metal spatulas on the grill.

Delicious Philly Cheesecake Experience
My experience at this restaurant was centered around their delicious Philly cheesecake! You have the option to choose your cheese, and we opted for the classic Cheese Whiz. It's best enjoyed when dining in, but it was also great as leftovers to take home.
