Consistently Impressive Dining Experience
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently impressive across multiple visits. The food is delicious, with a thoughtfully sourced and curated menu. The service is great, and the servers are both attentive and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend this place. My favorite dishes include the tuna tostadas, Caesar salad, and the cochinita pibil, but honestly, everything I've tried here has been great.

Consistently Great Tuna Tostadas!
I've been a patron of Pancita since their popup days and have continued to visit their brick-and-mortar location since it opened. Chef Janet and her staff consistently deliver an excellent experience every time I've visited, whether I'm bringing my family for a group reservation or dining solo at the bar. My absolute favorite meal in Seattle is their tuna tostadas paired with a beer – they never disappoint!

Impeccable Experience, Worth the Treat
My experience at this restaurant was impeccable from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the cocktails, which were really good.
We started with the squash salad, which was incredible. The tuna tostadas were also very good. For our main course, we had the black cod and a side of rice.
The rice was so flavorful, I could eat it every day. While the cod was silky, its flavor was a bit underwhelming, but it was still a good decision. The meal cost $150 for two, making it a definite treat, but totally worth it.

Disappointing Service Despite Tasty Food
I really wanted to love this place! After trying to get a reservation for quite some time, I was excited when we finally snagged one. The food was tasty, but our experience took a turn when we ordered a second round of cocktails.
We were told it would take "a while" due to a backlog of drink orders, which I've never encountered before while dining out. The second round took 40 minutes to arrive, and these weren't complex drinks. To add to the frustration, as we were trying to finish our late cocktails, we were informed about a 2-hour table limit.
I wish this had been communicated upfront when we were seated, as it wasn't our fault the drinks were delayed. For two people, we spent about $300, which in my opinion warrants better service. As someone of Mexican heritage who grew up in LA, I'm passionate about elevated Mexican food and genuinely wanted to support this establishment.
Perhaps it was an off night? For my fix, I'd rather go to De'La Santa for cochinita pibil and Maiz in Pike Place for their tortillas.

Pancita: A Culinary Gem in Seattle!
Pancita was a breath of fresh air, offering a meal that we can't remember having been this good in Seattle. The atmosphere and ambiance were incredibly warm and cozy, well-lit, and felt very homey – a perfect 10/10. The service was also so lovely.
The food was absolutely stunning; beautiful, thoughtful dishes with heart that delivered exceptional flavor and balance. This is exactly what the city needs more of. Everything we tried was phenomenal, expertly guided by our server.
We highly recommend the Mezcal Tamarind Sour! We are already planning our next visit to try more. Don't hesitate to make your reservation.
To the Pancita crew, THANK YOU for all that you do and PLEASE keep doing it!

Cute & Eclectic Local Gem
My experience at this super cute local restaurant was noteworthy. All the bites were tasty and some even memorable, including the salad, tortillas, fruit dessert, and a special spiced coffee. What's unique is their offering of multiple types of corn base for tortillas.
I'd recommend this place for a date night if you're looking for something local, cute, and eclectic. However, go somewhere else if you desire a formal or fancy atmosphere.

Great Food, Disappointing Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was great, and the vibes were very cozy from the moment I walked in. However, when I asked our server for some extra mole to go with our leftovers, we were told that they don't have prep staff to accommodate our request.
That was disappointing. Overall, despite the service hiccup, it was a wonderful experience.

Authentic Mexican Food Delight
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The chef's recreation of authentic Mexican food was excellent. Both the chicken in mole poblano and the pork chop were amazing, but honestly, everything was delicious.

Delicious Tostadas and Mole - Worth Sharing!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I absolutely loved the tuna tostadas and the dessert tamal. For the first time ever, I actually liked the mole.
The portions are large, so I recommend sharing one entree between two people and getting an extra side instead. The atmosphere and service were both excellent, rated 5 out of 5.
