Spicy Miso Ramen Bliss!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the spicy miso ramen and it was so goooooood! I would love to go back to SF to eat it again! 💕 The wait time was no wait, and I enjoyed indoor dining in a quiet area where it was easy to talk.

Great Small Plates & Happy Hour
My experience was a pleasant walk-in during a late afternoon when I was between meals and not too hungry, but wanted to grab something. I really liked the portion of the foods, as the small plates were perfect for my needs. They also offer a happy hour between 4: 30 PM and 6: 00 PM, where all small plates are $5.

Good Food, Parking and Seating Issues
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. While the food was generally pretty good, I encountered some issues with parking and seating. It was quite difficult to find parking, which led me to take the bus instead. Upon arrival, the seating was limited, resulting in a short wait of a couple of minutes. Regarding the food, I found the ramen to be a little too salty, but the takoyaki was pretty good and offered good value.

Delicious and Affordable Lunch Special!
I found this place while researching delicious, affordable lunch spots, and it did not disappoint! I visited during their 11 am-3 pm lunch special, which is an incredible deal at $16 for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I opted for the chicken karaage and the tonkotsu chashu ramen, both of which were delicious and perfectly filling. The food was great, and the atmosphere was also a 5-star experience. I highly recommend this spot for a satisfying and budget-friendly lunch.

Disappointing Ramen Experience
I came here feeling super excited, but unfortunately, I left disappointed. I ordered the coconut chicken Ramen, and it was basically lukewarm. All of the chicken had tendons that were practically inedible, and the vegetables were very, very undercooked. The service was fast, but it felt like everything was pre-prepared and not very well done, which was confusing. On a positive note, the atmosphere was really nice and cozy, and the small setting made it feel very intimate and homey.

Excellent Fish, Service Needs Improvement
I stumbled upon this restaurant on Post Street during happy hour and decided to stop in. I ordered the salmon poke, salmon sashimi, and seared salmon nigiri. The environment was fresh and clean, with loud upbeat music that created a good vibe without being unpleasantly loud. However, I found the waiter to be oddly unhappy and unfriendly. He seemed annoyed when I clarified my order for two orders of nigiri (four pieces) and again when I declined a drink, opting for water. This made me feel a little less comfortable before my food arrived. Despite the service hiccup, the fish was excellent, and the food was delicious. I was impressed by everything I had. My only constructive criticism is that both the sashimi and poke were served with seaweed salad. In the poke, it was a bit overwhelming to the fish's flavor, and having it as the sole garnish for the sashimi made it feel repetitive. Adding a Japanese mint leaf would have been a nice touch. I understand it was discount hour, though. The quality of the fish and the rendering of each dish were very, very good. I would return, hoping for a different waiter or for the same waiter to have a better day.

Creative Ramen with Room for Improvement
My experience at this restaurant was close to amazing. The menu offers interesting and creative takes on ramen, and the service was great and very friendly. They also have a great lunch special. However, there are two small things that could really elevate the quality of the dishes. Firstly, I wish the ramen egg was marinated, as a plain boiled egg just isn't the same. Secondly, the meats should be marinated before being tossed into the ramen. The coconut shoyu broth was tasty, but the chicken inside was completely tasteless and weirdly dry.

Disappointing Experience, Lousy Service
We were hoping for good things from this place, especially since it was highly rated and we were looking for some really good Japanese food. Our experience, however, was quite unpleasant. We faced a wait of about 20 minutes with no place to stand, which initially raised our anticipation. Once inside, we encountered issues with the food availability; they were out of sushi rice before the evening rush, which seemed strange. Ordering was also a challenge, with the waiter taking four different tries to get our order right. The first dish we received was essentially a raw egg over cold rice and ground pork – "Yuk. " After waiting another 20 minutes for the second dish, we were told the chef had left and the new shift chef wasn't ready, and then that they were out of it. It would have been better if we had been informed sooner so we could have ordered something else. The ramen was just "okay. " Overall, the service was lousy and the food, particularly the don, was pretty inedible. We rarely write reviews and try to be generous, but this experience was not good, and we would not recommend it to anyone.

Disappointing Experience: Expensive and Tasteless
My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The food was expensive and tasteless. Additionally, the wait time for service was considerable, as they took 30 minutes to attend to us.
