I'm giving this place only 4 stars for food because of a recurring issue. Every time I visit, I've tried to order the chicken rolled tacos, and they are consistently out of stock. This is very disappointing, especially since they were the original chicken ones back in the day. Otherwise, I absolutely love this place! The food is great, the people are great, and the atmosphere is awesome and clean.

It used to be one of my favorite places, but I can tell that over the past few months, something has changed. The service quality has declined, and the food quality has also decreased. I wish the OG Nico's atmosphere would come back to life again.

Nico's is one of my favorite go-to spots. My experience centered around their famous chicken burrito with red sauce, which is a personal favorite. This particular dish can be a bit messy, so I always opt for double tortillas. The burrito is incredibly flavorful and really big. If you enjoy messy food, this is definitely the place for you.

After 25 years of eating at Mexican restaurants in San Diego, I was hoping to find a new favorite hole-in-the-wall spot. Unfortunately, my experience was the worst fish burrito I've ever had. The first few bites were mostly cabbage and tomato, with hardly any fish. When I did reach the fish, it was clear it was low quality frozen fish stick, which was gross and inedible. I left it on the table and walked out. I don't understand how this place has such great reviews, but I will never go back.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I was impressed by the huge portions, which were very generous. The service was fast, and the food was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the red and green sauces, both offering a medium heat. They serve Coke products.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially when it came to the food. I had the Carne Asada fries, and I can confidently say they were the best I've ever had. I've tried them from many places, and these truly stood out.

We arrived just as they were closing, but they were kind enough to make our to-go order anyway. They even unlocked the door and let us in! The service was excellent. We also enjoyed the Carne Asada Burrito.

I highly recommend trying the Conga burrito; it's been my favorite for nearly 20 years. The atmosphere and service are both top-notch, rated a perfect 5 out of 5.

I've been going to this restaurant for years and have always had a great experience. The parking options are excellent, with a free parking lot and plenty of parking spaces. The prices are very reasonable, falling within the $10–$20 range per person. I recently had the two taco combo plate, which was a lot of food. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
