Disappointing Wait and Unavailable Chicken
My experience at the restaurant was quite frustrating. I placed an order at 12: 28 pm, but ended up waiting until 12: 50 pm. At that point, I was informed that there was no chicken available for the souvlaki plate and it would take another 10 minutes.
This was a significant delay and inconvenience.

Disappointing Portion Sizes and Quality
Over the past few months, I've noticed a significant decline in how the restaurant treats the vegetables in their gyro bowls. They've started treating them more like garnishes than a substantial part of the meal. Even when I specifically pay extra for more cucumbers and tomatoes and leave a note requesting them, I receive at most three half-slices of each, and even those are very small, as if they're using mini cucumbers.
There was a time when they used to be generous with the vegetables. I'm unsure if business is slow, but I'm done spending $20 for a bowl that primarily consists of rice, lettuce, and chicken, especially since they sometimes even forget to include the rice. The food quality has suffered, and the portion sizes are now inadequate.

Terrible Experience: Wrong Order and Plastic in Food
As a regular customer for over a year, my recent experience was incredibly disappointing. I received an order that was completely wrong; instead of chicken, I was given what I suspect was either lamb or beef, and it was almost raw. After getting the order changed, the second order contained a black plastic piece, which was truly disheartening to find in my food.
I will absolutely never return.

Gyro was just okay, fries were fine
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The Gyro was just okay; it felt like it had been cooked some time ago and kept warm. The fries were fine.
The price was normal for SF.

Great Gyro, Loud Music
I came here because it was close to my home and was recommended the beef and lamb gyro. The gyro was indeed great, with a perfect portion size, plenty of fillings, and a crunchy and savory texture. I also appreciated the quick service and how easy it was to find seating.
However, the music was super loud, which detracted from the overall experience as it felt like a more casual place. Overall, this was a quick pit stop, and I would return for another gyro craving.

Disappointing Skimping on Ingredients
My experience was disappointing because the restaurant seemed to be running out of ingredients and still packed our takeout orders. I ordered two medium bowls that were supposed to be identical. However, the second bowl contained only three whole chickpeas and very little cucumber, tomato, or onion.
There was also next to no sauce or hummus. It felt like they were trying to emulate The Halal Guys but without their generous plating. The quality was lower, and I didn't even receive what I ordered.

Worst Fries Ever Tasted
My experience was defined by the worst fries I might have ever tasted. They were like freeze-dried cardboard pillow stuffing or something of the sort. It was insanity!

Disappointing Greek Food Experience
If you're expecting Greek cuisine, you'll unfortunately be disappointed here. The fries were rock hard, and both the bowl and the gyros plate were noticeably skimpy on the meat – especially disappointing given the high prices. Taste-wise, the rice, salad, and meat were okay.
The staff was friendly, but overall, the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us.

Disappointing Experience with Wrong Orders
My recent experience at Nick The Greek was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, it seemed like our requests and preferences were completely ignored. To start, the items we ordered were incorrect, which was incredibly frustrating.
Furthermore, the rice portion was excessive while the protein was barely adequate. It's never a good feeling to feel shortchanged on the main component of a meal. To make matters worse, the cashier was dismissive and ignored our concerns about the unwanted changes to our food.
It felt like our voices didn’t matter at all. Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. I hope they can improve their customer service and attention to detail in the future.
I won't be returning anytime soon.

Tasty Falafel, Soggy Fries
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. I found the Falafel Pita to be super tasty and I'm definitely ordering it again. However, I did not like their fries; they were too soft.
The service and atmosphere were rated a 4 out of 5.
