Decent Burger, Lacking Value
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was pretty cheap, which is a positive, but I wouldn't say it offered the best value burger in the area. I ordered bacon on my burger, and it seemed like they just sprinkled some bacon bits on it, which was disappointing.
I also got a milkshake, which was very small and nothing special. The atmosphere was great, scoring a 5, and the service was also good, rated at 4.

Old Burbs Glory Lost at New Burbs
I used to consider Old Burbs the best burger in Seattle and would eat there several times a month, honestly, it was once a week. When I heard they were reopening as New Burbs, I was ecstatic and rushed down on opening day. I've eaten there a few times now, hoping it would improve, but it hasn't.
The new owner clearly wants to excel, but keeps changing things that move New Burbs further from Old Burbs' glory. New Burbs lacks the crispy, charred smash patties that Old Burbs had, with little to no Maillard reaction, which is crucial for differentiating good burgers from average ones. The owner also increased the patties to 4oz, which I believe is too much meat for a truly crispy, lacey, scrumptious smash patty.
Additionally, the burgers are now dripping in sauce, which sounds good in theory but makes them difficult to eat. As for the fries, Old Burbs served an abundance of delectable golden shoestrings, enough for my partner and me to share. Now, we each need our own, and they are limp, colorless, and slightly starchy from being undercooked.
They need to be left in the fryer for another minute or two! I really want this place to succeed, but they need to remove items that don't belong and focus on making a limited menu as good as it used to be. I wouldn't mind the price changes if the quality were the same as Old Burbs.
As the saying goes, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it. ' Is it something I'd eat after a few drinks at a bar? Sure.
Is it something I'd go out of my way for when craving a burger? Eh.

Inconsistent Burgers, Rising Prices
My recent experience at this restaurant has been marked by inconsistency, particularly with their burgers. While many reviews mention they were great for $6, in the last 4 weeks (since December 24th), prices have increased by $3, making other options like Dick's the better choice again. I also believe that within this same price increase timeframe, they changed their buns and possibly their meat; it just isn't the same.
The frequent changing of names like "old, " "new, " and "just burbs" makes it difficult to track reviews for accurate pricing and what you're actually getting. Even when dining at the bar, the printed menus showed prices $1 cheaper than when ordering, and online it was $1 cheaper than the menu. This lack of consistency is something the burgers have unfortunately experienced recently.

Burb's Burgers: A North Shore Gem
My experience at Burb’s Burgers on Oahu’s North Shore was exceptional. This food truck is a true hidden gem, offering one of the best burger experiences in Hawaii. I found the burgers to be incredibly juicy and flavorful, leaving me craving more.
The menu is simple but packed with flavor, featuring signature burgers made fresh to order with high-quality ingredients. The classic cheeseburger and the bacon burger were definite crowd-pleasers. The crispy fries and indulgent milkshakes were perfect accompaniments.
What truly stood out was the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the upbeat, attentive staff. The location near iconic beaches also makes it a convenient stop. With fresh ingredients, unbeatable flavor, and an inviting vibe, Burb’s Burgers is more than just a meal—it’s an experience that embodies the aloha spirit.

Disappointing Service, Good Burger
I wanted to like Burbs again, but my experience was disappointing. Although they "called our name, " we were never acknowledged. My burger sat on the counter for an extra 20 minutes before being served.
Due to the poor service, I will not be coming back.

Hidden Gem for Amazing Burgers!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a true hidden gem. The burgers were incredibly juicy, perfectly well-seasoned, and bursting with flavor.
It's evident that they put a lot of care into their ingredients and cooking. Furthermore, the employees were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome from the moment I approached the counter. I definitely recommend this spot if you're craving a great burger!

Inedible Chicken and Undercooked Fries
My experience ordering a chicken sandwich and fries to go was extremely disappointing. The fries were less than half cooked and noticeably pale. The chicken sandwich was inedible; I couldn't even bite through it.
Upon peeling off the breading, I saw fake grill marks, and the chicken itself was so tough and woody that I couldn't pull it apart with my hands. This was a truly baffling experience.

Nuggets Not the Same Anymore
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The nuggets, which used to be my favorite thing from this place, are now nothing like before and are made with a totally different recipe. I really wish they would have kept the original recipe the same.
