Great Coffee, Sandwiches, and Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The space is nice and bright, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I enjoyed their great coffee and the made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and pasta. They also offer beer, wine, and some groceries. I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the neighborhood.

An Unexpected Culinary Delight!
Visiting from Sacramento, my girlfriend and I decided to pop into Mainstays on a whim. We ordered a cookie, drip coffee, iced tea, and two breakfast sandwiches. Upon our first sips, we both shared an audible “woah” – *everything* was the best in its category. The cookie had a unique caramelized texture, savory and not too sweet. The iced tea was surprisingly bold and fragrant, truly shining on its own. The coffee, a much lighter roast than expected, was brewed perfectly, reminiscent of what I'd expect from Blue Bottle back home. The sandwiches were excellent too, though this review is getting lengthy. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Phenomenal Breakfast Sandwiches and Iced Tea!
My experience at this restaurant was phenomenal! I ordered the veggie breakfast sandwich and iced tea, while my partner chose the bacon breakfast sandwich and drip coffee, along with a chocolate chip cookie. We found everything to be incredibly fresh and made with quality ingredients. If we lived in Seattle, this would definitely be a go-to spot for us!

Delicious Specials and Pastries!
My friend encouraged me to check this place out, and I'm so glad they did! The specials were absolutely delicious, especially as a cortado. I was very impressed and will definitely be returning. They also have a great selection of pastries with a twist, and a market area to explore.

Overpriced and Disappointing Meal
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the high prices and perceived overcharging. The food we received for $46, without any drinks, was essentially breakfast sandwiches without sides, costing about $20 each. To add to the frustration, we were overcharged by $2. 00, and the manager refused to correct it, stating the menu price was wrong. This experience makes me unlikely to return, especially given the proximity of better options. For perspective, the day before, we had two amazing sandwiches with sides and two oatmilk chais for $39 at Corner 8 Bistro. This establishment feels like an overpriced convenience store cafe.

Dietary Restrictions? Avoid This Place.
My experience at this restaurant was concerning due to the food quality and its implications for dietary restrictions. I ordered a cheese pizza, and to my surprise, it had chunks of pepperoni on it. This oversight makes it a place to avoid if you have dietary restrictions.

Tasty Salad with a Price Warning
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The salad was tasty, though a bit too sweet for my preference, but overall it was not bad. A significant issue I encountered was with the menu price; it was incorrect and lower than the actual cost. I recommend clarifying the price when you order to avoid any surprises.

Efficient Lunch with Delicious Treats!
I stopped in for a quick bite during the lunch rush and was impressed by how efficiently the front counter moved everyone along, despite the crowd. I was excited to try their focaccia of the day, which was bacon, cheese, and Mama Lil's – absolutely delicious! I was also over the moon to snag their last chocolate chip cookie, a personal favorite in the city. I found a table without issue and enjoyed my meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, with everyone happily engaged in conversation and enjoying their food. It was a truly pleasant afternoon!

Great Food, Wonderful Staff, Worth the Price
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The food was clean and fresh, and the staff were wonderful. While it was slightly on the expensive side, I felt it was worth it. The service, atmosphere, and food all received a perfect score.
