Nice Atmosphere, Poor Food Quality
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The place itself is nice, and the bartender was very pleasant, even taking our food order. However, the food was ultimately not worth it.
I ordered a Diet Coke, which was surprisingly the worst Diet Coke I ever had 😂. The pork belly tacos were excessively salty, and the garlic cheese fries tasted like that artificial popcorn cheddar powder.

Kitchen closed, had to leave
My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. We arrived and found it was too loud, and unfortunately, the kitchen was closed because it was very busy. We had to leave without eating.

Whiskey Deal Not Honored
My experience at the restaurant was disappointing due to a pricing discrepancy. Their system didn't seem to honor the advertised whiskey of the week price. While it was only a $2 difference, it made me question what else might be wrong with their operations.

Horrible Experience: Food, Staff, Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was horrible on every level. The food was very okay, and the staff and vibe were also disappointing. The drinks were also just okay.
It felt like a dumb lecture rather than a dining experience.

Immaculate Vibe, Great Food & Drinks
Don’t let the alleyway scare you off from going here! The vibe here is always immaculate, whether it’s slow or busy. It’s one of my favorite places to go for a drink or eat in SF!

Great Burgers, Overseasoned Salad
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The burgers and drinks were excellent and left nothing to the imagination. However, my salad was dramatically overseasoned.
The service was great, as the bartender immediately made me feel welcome, saying he was my huckleberry 🥰. Overall, the food quality was rated highly, and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Great Vibes and Delicious Food!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially on a weeknight. I came with a friend for beers and a bite to eat, and the food did NOT disappoint. We especially enjoyed the Sweet Lou’s Bangkok Chix nugs, which had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy.
The Miso corn ribs were also fire. The atmosphere was great, and the service was top-notch, both receiving a perfect score. While the noise level was loud, it was still possible to have a conversation.

Great Bar with Solid Food and Service
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive. The bar offered a good selection of beers on tap, and the service was solid. I particularly enjoyed the burger with white cheddar, which was legit.
Shout out to Matt, the bartender, for his excellent beer recommendations. My only minor gripe is that the bar stools/seating arrangement can be a little cramped, but it was still worth the trip. I will definitely be checking this place out again.

Good Deals, Different Vibe
I used to frequent this place for happy hour between 2011 and 2013. I recall one memorable game of dice where I experienced beginner's luck. Stopping by recently, I found the place packed.
They now have a kitchen with plates costing $20+. While the $11 deal for beer and a shot remains a good value, the overall atmosphere isn't the same. The bartenders were nice.

Great Cocktails, Good Food, Nice Vibe
It is a small, blink and you'll miss it place as you walk by, but it comes as advertised: great cocktails, good food, and a nice vibe.
