Great Coffee, Terrible Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the coffee was great, the service was extremely disappointing. One of the staff members was incredibly rude, screaming at us while the cafe was busy, even though we had done nothing wrong. To make matters worse, this same staff member was consistently getting customer orders wrong. We used to love this place, but unfortunately, due to this negative service experience, we won’t be returning.

Awesome coffee, food, and service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I absolutely loved the awesome tasty coffee and food. The owner, who I believe is the person referred to as 'her', truly cares about her customers. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I also enjoyed the atmosphere.

Best Coffee and Sweet Owner!
I am so glad I walked into Katy's last week. I got to meet the owner, and it was some of the best coffee I've had in Seattle in the past decade. The line was super long, and the wait was awhile for my sandwich and mocha, but as soon as I saw someone come in to help out the one barista and one cook, I went up to say something. The person I spoke to ended up being Katy, the owner, and she is super sweet and genuine. She was very understanding and didn't hesitate to accommodate me. I told them I'd be back and I plan to go there again this weekend. The atmosphere is wonderful as well, lots of cute doggos and cute people 🩷 Also, don't sleep on the day old pastries, they taste fresh and delicious! Only $1. 10 + tax.

Disappointing Bagel, Great Service
My experience was centered around the famous breakfast bagel. I had it the next day, which might have affected my perception, or perhaps it just wasn't for me. I love McDonald's sausage egg McMuffin and can eat those three days old and still love them. The ratio of bagel to filling felt overwhelming, and eating it felt like a chore with no distinct flavors popping. For almost $12, it wasn't worth it for me. However, the people there were great, and they seemed to put a lot of effort into the sandwich. I was ultimately disappointed by all the hyped reviews I had read about it.

Cozy Chai and Poetry Haven
My experience was one of warmth and comfort, primarily from the delicious vanilla chai. This was complemented by a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, kind staff, and delightfully disorganized shelves stocked full of poetry collections and zines.

Excellent Bagel and Quiche!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I was pleased to find out about their summer hours, being open until 5 PM on weekends, including Fridays. The Sesame Bagel with cream cheese and onions was exceptionally good, even better than I make at home. The Quiche with veggies and black beans was truly immaculate. To top it off, the coffee was perfectly balanced for a Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend this place; do yourself a favor and visit!

Busy but cute space, try again later
I walked in and thought the space looked cute. They were really busy, and as someone who works in the industry, I gave them the benefit of the doubt to "take your time. " However, they were definitely in the weeds. Good luck! Sorry, I'll try again some other time.

Cozy Cafe with Hearty Sandwiches
My experience at Katy's Corner Cafe was wonderful! It's a cozy, delicious, and welcoming local cafe. The sandwiches we got were top notch – not fancy, but super hearty and really hit the spot. The drinks were similarly good, and the service was kind. Although the space inside is tiny, we were fortunate to find a table available. I definitely recommend a visit!

Lovely staff, tasty chai and sandwich!
I really like their spicy dirty chai and turkey cran sandwich! I always enjoy visiting the shop because the owner and workers are so lovely. It can sometimes be a wait for food though depending on how busy it is since the shop/kitchen is small. But they do have a few seats available!

Katy's: A Neighborhood Gem!
My experience at Katy's has been consistently wonderful over the past four years. It's truly one of the best parts of the neighborhood. The service is always warm and friendly, making every visit pleasant. I'm always impressed by the top-notch ingredients that always taste fresh. You're guaranteed a magical Sunday with a walk to Katy's, especially with their delightful outdoor cafe tables.
