Unique Flavors & Great Cheesecake Experience
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I enjoyed their sweets and drinks, which offered unique flavors. A standout was their cheesecake, which I recognized as Muse cheesecakes, confirmed by the staff.
They acknowledged their vendor is Muse, whom they consider one of the best cheesecake makers in SoCal. I thoroughly enjoyed both the drink and the cheesecake and highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was also very cute.

Favorite Study Spot with Great Chai
My favorite study spot at night! I've pretty much tried the entire menu, and the best they have is the milk cakes and the karak chai. In terms of coffee, it can be a hit or miss, but you can’t go wrong with the spanish latte or biscoff latte.
The atmosphere is great, and the staff are very friendly. I like the sense of community within the people gathered there.

Pricey coffee, poor experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I paid $11 for a "specialty" coffee that was bland and dull. To make matters worse, I was asked to leave shortly after paying to make room for new customers.
The price simply did not match the experience.

Refreshing Rose Milk and Delicious Cake!
My experience at this restaurant was quite enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed their signature karak chai, and the gulab jamun cake was a delightful treat. We also tried the rose milk, which was surprisingly refreshing.
I initially expected it to be similar to a Roohafza drink, but it turned out to be an in-house recipe, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely visit again!

Fantastic Signature Chai for a Party
We had Karak House cater their signature chai for a friend’s birthday party, and it was absolutely fantastic. The tea was rich, perfectly spiced, and a huge hit with all the guests — easily one of the highlights of the evening.

Great Vibes and Food in SD!
Finally, a place like this in the greater SD area! My experience was fantastic, with amazing chap and great vibes. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, receiving a perfect 5/5 rating in each category.
While the noise level was loud, it was still possible to have a conversation. The price per person was very affordable, ranging from $1-$10.

Extremely Rude Staff and Unprofessional Service
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly negative due to the extremely rude and unprofessional staff. The service was out of control, with the girl at the counter becoming very loud and angry in front of other customers simply because we asked for our chai to be served in a mug instead of a to-go cup. We observed multiple customers leaving as the staff repeatedly stated they were not taking any dine-ins due to being short-staffed.
To add to the frustration, the staff even lied about the closing time, telling everyone they close at 10 pm when their online listing clearly shows a different time.

Excellent New Spot with Great Service!
This is a fantastic new addition to the area. I was impressed by the lovely ambience and decor. The chai was good enough for my desi palate, and the desserts, like the Tiramisu and Ras Malai cake, were excellent.
The staff was incredibly nice; when I dropped my cake, they kindly gave me another one for free, refusing payment. This was first-class service, and I will definitely be coming back very soon and often.

Disappointing Coffee and Service
My experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a cappuccino, which is a basic drink, yet it was missed twice. To make matters worse, customers who ordered after me received their coffee first.
The barista mentioned they were calibrating the espresso machine, but it was 10: 30 AM. Considering the price of $5. 50 per cup, I feel I could get a better coffee at Starbucks, which is also closer.
I won't be returning.

Excellent Chai and Smooth Service
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning their beverages. The Signature Karak Chai was outstanding, earning a 9. 5/10.
It tasted as good as homemade, with rich masala spices, particularly cardamom. Despite the sweetness not being adjustable, it was perfectly balanced – not too sweet, very rich, and smooth. I highly recommend trying it.
The Karak Latte also received a 9. 5/10. While the coffee slightly subdued the spices compared to the chai, it offered a deeper flavor.
The dark roast was perfect and complemented the spices wonderfully, making it a great choice for coffee lovers. The Gulab Jamun Milk Cake was a solid 8/10. It resembled the tres leches style cakes found in other Middle Eastern cafes.
While it didn't strongly evoke the taste of gulab jamun for me due to the lack of rich syrup, it did have a pleasant cardamom-forward, generally desi flavor. The top layer had a Cool-Whip-like texture, which was just okay. The ambiance was clean, new, and spacious, making it a great spot for working.
It felt very casual and family-friendly. The service was fast and friendly, exceeding expectations. Parking was also easy in the provided lot.
