Focaccia Reserve - Reviews

My experience at Focaccia Reserve was excellent. If you're in the Embarcadero Center area, this place should definitely be on your short list. While you could opt for a salad or fast-casual chain, Focaccia Reserve offers a generous offering that can't be beaten. As a business with 30 years of experience, they truly know how to deliver, providing everything from salads to hot entrees.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found arguably some of the best bakery items on the menu. The staff were amazingly nice, and I always stop here when I get the chance. It's a very nice place to eat with a fully customizable menu. I particularly enjoyed their cookies, which were very big and wholesome – two of them could easily make a lunch meal. DISCLAIMER: Their cookies have walnuts in them. I'm unsure if there's a sign, but be cautious if you have a nut allergy, as the nuts are hidden inside the cookie.

I was looking for something different for lunch and decided to wander a little further from the office than usual, ending up in front of Focaccia Market & Bakery. The place is very spacious. On the right side, there's the refrigerator with all the drinks. On the left, the salads and pastries are displayed. Straight ahead, as you walk in, you'll find the hot meal counter where burgers, signature plates, and bowls are served. I walked around a bit and settled on Salmon Teriyaki under Focaccia Signature Bowls. The bowl came with rice and vegetables and a nice piece of salmon on top. I liked everything, including the teriyaki sauce, which was very balanced. Not bad for $17! The servers were very friendly. I spoke with a couple of them, and they were very helpful in answering my questions. We even cracked a joke or two for a laugh. The dining space is nice and can accommodate small groups easily if you move a table or two around. They are about a ten-minute walk from my office, but I will likely visit again.

My experience at Focaccia was a stark contrast to its past. I used to work nearby and remember it being very busy. Returning after 2020, I was surprised to find very few customers during lunchtime today. The salad line had only one person, the hot food line had one other, and the sandwich line was empty. It was disheartening to see more employees than customers. While my past memories of Focaccia's food weren't great, the service today was excellent. My focaccia burger, a 1/2 pound patty with cheese and bacon, served with fries for $16, tasted OK. It was a solid meal. Given I'm supposed to be in the office three times a week, I plan to visit more often.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was great, and I particularly enjoyed my huevos rancheros. The staff was friendly; one "chill guy" even let us sample a dish. The price is amazing for the portion size. I would definitely recommend this place.

My experience at this restaurant was excellent, particularly for a healthy breakfast. The Foccacia scramble was a standout dish. It was incredibly filling, cheap, and of high quality. I appreciated that it was not greasy. The service, atmosphere, and food all received a perfect score of 5.

My experience at this restaurant was great for both breakfast and lunch. They offer a hot food section, a warm and cold sandwich section, and a salad bar. Initially, I thought the to-go container for the salad bar seemed small, but I was proven wrong after seeing how they prepared it. The salad bar had many fresh items and flavorful dressings.

My experience was excellent! I pre-ordered for the following day, and it all transpired without a hitch. The food presentation and quality was great, and there was an excellent variety of choices! It made me very hungry.

My experience with their catering service has been awful on several occasions. The food is consistently delivered 2-3 hours before it is meant to be served. Due to these issues, I have been advised to never use this vendor again for any catering services.

My experience at this restaurant was a total failure. I would advise others to not waste your money here. The $16 steak was a joke.
