Vara Burger: A Fresh and Flavorful Experience!
My experience at Vara Burger was absolutely mind-blowing! It's a refreshing change from the usual fast-food options. The dishes offered a firework of flavors, and the presentation was excellent. Even as someone not easily impressed by beer, they managed to surprise me! I want to give a special shout-out to the staff, especially our server Mari. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The interior also deserves a solid 5 out of 5. Highly recommended!

Delicious Food, Great Experience!
My experience at the restaurant was very good. I really enjoyed the cats burger, baked goat cheese, and Persian cucumbers. The herb garlic fries were delicious!

Modern Spot for Great Food & Service
I had an upscale casual dining experience at this restaurant. The interior is very modern, and the service staff were both friendly and efficient. My food arrived in good time, with excellent presentation and quality. It's a good place for date night, celebrations, and everything in between, offering a comfortable neighborhood spot vibe.

Great Food, Terrible Service Experience
My first visit to this restaurant was great. We called ahead to see if we could watch the Cowboys game and if we could bring our service dog, and we were told yes on the phone. However, upon arrival, we were greeted by an incredibly rude host who questioned us excessively about our medical conditions, even though our dog was being very well-behaved. Sadly, we will never return to this place with or without our dog.

Delicious Garlic Fries & Flatbread!
My experience at the restaurant was largely positive, with the garlic fries being a highlight. I was so focused on eating them, I almost forgot to take a picture! Lol The mushroom flatbread was also super, with an excellent flatbread base that I could enjoy even with a dip. I suggested adding crushed pepper flakes or goat cheese to make it more vibrant, but that's just my personal opinion as I'm no chef. The service was fantastic! I sat outdoors, and while it was a bit chilly, my server mentioned they will be installing outdoor heat lamps soon, which is great news.

Amazing Food, Vibe, and Drinks!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic across appetizers, dinner, and brunch. The food was amazing, and the cocktails were spot on, with a preference for shaken drinks over ice. Both the hazy IPA and the Oktoberfest beer were best in class. The overall ambiance & vibe truly elevated the experience, making it the icing on the cake. I loved everything about it and found it well worth a trip, even if visiting from elsewhere in the city or specifically coming to SF.

Great Community Vibe and Food, but Pricey
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently positive, as we visit about once a week. The service is outstanding; everyone is super kind, and they genuinely succeed at creating a community vibe. The food is almost always very good. I also love the atmosphere, with its plants, lighting, and beautiful bar. However, I do find it pricey in certain ways, especially since the burgers are $22 each. Despite the cost, we always leave happy.

Awesome Experience with Great Food and Service
My experience at this restaurant was awesome. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the space was so comfortable. They offer craft beer that perfectly complements the fantastic menu. I had the seared shrimp pasta, which was served in the lightest, most flavorful sauce. My wife enjoyed the burger so much that it was gone in no time!

Huge Upgrade in Service and Ambiance!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The service was some of the best I've had in a long time, a HUGE upgrade from the Reservoir Brewery. The ambiance was also great.

A Fun and Delicious Neighborhood Gem
We live nearby and have been going to Fifty Vara since it opened this winter, and it just keeps getting better. We are so excited (and relieved) to have a fun new go-to around the corner. We even hosted my mom’s 25-person birthday upstairs and it couldn’t have been easier to plan. Everyone loved the food and the space, and it was a great value. Lately I’ve been loving the steak, the radiatore with shrimp, the garlic shrimp, and all the salads. Service is always friendly, cocktails are fun, and the menu changes enough to keep things interesting. We usually come with our two-year-old, and the space is big and lively with super high ceilings.
