Delicious Breakfast with Great Service
I stopped for breakfast yesterday while visiting my daughter in Hayes Valley. I was greeted with a warm smile and had engaging conversation with Ami while I enjoyed my breakfast at the counter. I had a delicious chicken apple sausage, eggs and hash brown. It's a great spot!

Demanding Tip After Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant was marred by an unpleasant interaction during payment. While the food was brought by one waiter, another, who had not served us at all, aggressively demanded a tip. This was a very unwelcome and unprofessional experience.

My first experience at this restaurant was in 2013, and I've been talking about it ever since. The bacon is a personal favorite, and everything else we've tried has been wonderful. The family running the place is also wonderful.
