I stopped for breakfast yesterday while visiting my daughter in Hayes Valley. I was greeted with a warm smile and had engaging conversation with Ami while I enjoyed my breakfast at the counter. I had a delicious chicken apple sausage, eggs and hash brown. It's a great spot!

My experience at this restaurant was marred by an unpleasant interaction during payment. While the food was brought by one waiter, another, who had not served us at all, aggressively demanded a tip. This was a very unwelcome and unprofessional experience.

During a weekend visit to San Francisco, I had breakfast at this restaurant for the first time and it was a great experience. The food was fresh, and the potatoes were particularly delicious. The atmosphere was also great. I never had an empty coffee cup, and the team working there provided A1 customer service, greeting us with a "Hi and Good Morning" and thanking us with a "Bye and Thank You. " I will definitely be going back!
