Delicious Breakfast with Great Service
I stopped for breakfast yesterday while visiting my daughter in Hayes Valley. I was greeted with a warm smile and had engaging conversation with Ami while I enjoyed my breakfast at the counter. I had a delicious chicken apple sausage, eggs and hash brown.
It's a great spot!

Demanding Tip After Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant was marred by an unpleasant interaction during payment. While the food was brought by one waiter, another, who had not served us at all, aggressively demanded a tip. This was a very unwelcome and unprofessional experience.

Wonderful Family and Bacon!
My first experience at this restaurant was in 2013, and I've been talking about it ever since. The bacon is a personal favorite, and everything else we've tried has been wonderful. The family running the place is also wonderful.

Best Breakfast in SF!
THIS IS THE PLACE! I came in here randomly one day and now I’m here 2-3 times a week. The owner, Amy, exudes hospitality and the breakfast is the best in SF.
I hope you love it as much as I do!

Great Breakfast and Service!
During a weekend visit to San Francisco, I had breakfast at this restaurant for the first time and it was a great experience. The food was fresh, and the potatoes were particularly delicious. The atmosphere was also great.
I never had an empty coffee cup, and the team working there provided A1 customer service, greeting us with a "Hi and Good Morning" and thanking us with a "Bye and Thank You. " I will definitely be going back!

Eddie's: A Homey Diner Gem
My experience at Eddie's has been consistently positive over the past two decades. The food is solid and reliably prepared, with their hash browns being a standout – they're old school, done right, and the best in town. The prices are good, offering great value.
I also appreciate the great atmosphere and the friendly staff who remember and greet you warmly. It truly embodies the kind of homey neighborhood diner that's a rare find in a big city today.

Tasty Food, Friendly Service, Still Great!
My experience at this restaurant was a pleasant return after years away. The food was tasty and delicious, with just the right portion, even though I initially thought it was small. The women that I encountered as servers were very friendly.
I also appreciated that they are clean. It's still the same great place, and I will be back for more!

Traditional Diner with Amazing Staff
My experience at this restaurant was that it's one of the few traditional diners left in the city. The staff work like crazy and know everyone in the neighborhood. The atmosphere was great, and the food was good.

Good Vibes, Decent Breakfast
My experience at this popular spot was generally positive. The atmosphere was great, with good vibes and a unique decor featuring lots of SF Giants bobbleheads. While the breakfast food was decent, it wasn't outstanding.
I wasn't a big fan of the sausage patties, but they were okay. The eggs were standard, but the pancakes were great. I left feeling quite full.
The service was excellent, rated 5/5, and the wait time was short, up to 10 minutes. The price per person was between $20–30.
