Pleasantly Surprised by Quality Sushi
I was very surprised by my experience. It was a good dinner with quality sushi. I was initially skeptical about getting a BOGO roll, but it was well done. The staff was polite, and the service was good.

Absolutely Inedible Food
My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative due to the food quality. The fish was stale and slimy, making it absolutely inedible. I had to spit it out and throw up immediately. The reviewer also rated the food, service, and atmosphere as 1.

Edible hotel delivery, but arrived cold
I ordered this for delivery to my hotel. It was not too bad for takeout, but it was kind of cold. However, it was edible.

Best Sushi Ever, Great Ramen!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional. I believe I had the best sushi I’ve ever tasted in my life. The Japanese beef ramen was also very good, though I don't eat much ramen, so I can't fully compare. Overall, the sushi was great.

Fresh Takeout Delights
My experience with the takeout was great. The order included chuturo, uni, and ama ebi nigiri, all of which were fresh.

Small Space, Big Sushi Flavor
While exploring North Beach and Chinatown, I discovered DJ Sushi. I decided to dine in and was the only guest upon arrival. The restaurant features a long hallway with a small seating area on the left and the kitchen on the right. The main dining area, though very small, was well-organized and clean. The hostess was very nice and offered edamame while I reviewed the menu. I started with delicious miso soup and then opted for the Omakase, an eight-piece nigiri combo. The Omakase was very fresh and delicious, leaving me very happy with my choices. Although I desired dessert like mochi and cheesecake, I skipped it. DJ Sushi is in a less desirable part of North Beach, but the food quality is very high and the service is pretty good. Don't let the unusual space deter you; it's an old building in an old area. If you're craving delicious and fresh sushi in North Beach, DJ Sushi is a top option you won't be disappointed with.

Delicious Sushi and Great Service
My experience at this small, cute restaurant was very positive. The staff were polite. While the menu is online only, I found the food to be good. I enjoyed the double tuna roll, California roll, and shrimp tempura. My guest had the bento box, which came with miso soup, and they also enjoyed it. The edamame was complimentary. I would recommend checking Groupon for a discount. I will definitely be back.

Great Value with Unique Flavors
My experience at this restaurant was marked by reasonable prices and unique flavors for each roll. I enjoyed 4 rolls, fried calamari, and a dessert, all for $100. The food was excellent, with a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere also received a 5. The service was also top-notch, rated at 5. The price per person was between $30–50, which I found to be a good value for the quality and quantity of food.
