Good food, minimal pork bun filling
My experience at the restaurant was generally positive, with good food. However, I found the filling in the pork bun to be minimal and pretty dry. For convenience, ordering online would be best.

Awful Customer Service Experience
My experience at this restaurant was the single most awful customer experience I have ever had. There were 4 people working at the register, and they were all insanely rude! It was my first time there, and when I asked how I ordered from the lady who seemed to be the manager, she freaked out and shouted at me, saying, "Go and pick up the menu and do it yourself.
" When I finally did that and wanted to pay, they said it was under $10, so they couldn't take a card and insisted I buy more items in a very rude way. I would not recommend it to anyone 🤢.

De-lish dumplings, worth the move!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional, primarily due to the de-lish dumplings. They were so good that they were the only reason I would ever consider moving to Seattle, even though I don't want to move there. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 10/10 rating.

Unique and Delicious Food!
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly positive, primarily due to the food. I love this place so much; the food is so good and unique, and it’s prepared very well! It's one of the few places where you can actually find really good and unique food.
While the location isn't the best, it's still one of my favorite places.

Surprising 8 AM Brunch Spot
I was surprised to see many people already in the restaurant at 8 AM. It really has that hole-in-the-wall feel. I will return again.

Rude Staff, Never Again
My experience with my girlfriend at this restaurant was marred by the staff's incredibly rude behavior. They made rude remarks for no reason when we attempted to pay with a card. Due to this poor service, I will never go here again.

Amazing Value and Delicious Dim Sum
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed good food with a quick turnaround. The Suimai was some of the best I've ever had, and the Custard Bun was also very good.
All of this was at a low cost, offering amazing value. The restaurant setting was humble, and the service was rated 5/5, food 5/5, and atmosphere 3/5.

Unprofessional Service, Paid Order Sold
I had a terrible experience here yesterday. I placed an order for two porridges and four rice cakes before the restaurant opened at 7 AM and paid in full through HungryPanda. When I arrived, they told me they had sold one of my porridges to someone else, even though my order was already confirmed and paid for.
Their excuse was that “HungryPanda customer service allowed them to do that, ” which was not true after I spoke with HungryPanda for confirmation. This is not the right way to conduct business. If a business takes an order and payment, they should honor it — not give part of it to another customer.
Very unprofessional operation! Think twice before ordering from this place. My response to Dim Sum King: Hi Dim Sum King team, I appreciate the follow-up, but a few important facts in your public reply need correcting so readers get the full picture.
1. ***Pickup time vs. Arrival time*** My scheduled pickup was 9: 40 AM and I arrived at around 3: 00 PM—not 4: 00 PM.
That’s roughly five hours later, not seven. I order takeout a lot (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc.) and I’ve never had a restaurant sell part of a paid order to someone else just because pickup was later the same day. Food safety matters, but so does getting the timeline right.
2. ***Food safety is being used to explain the wrong thing*** Your reply cites a “discard after 4 hours” rule for meat items. If that were truly the reason, then none of my congee should have been handed out later.
What actually happened: I ordered two congees and four rice cakes; when I arrived, one congee was missing because it had been sold to another customer. If the issue was food safety timing, keeping one congee for me while saying the other couldn’t be kept doesn’t add up. The rule is being used as a cover for selling part of a fully paid order to someone else.
3. ***Customer discretion after payment*** Once food is paid for and ready for pickup, it’s typically the customer’s call what to do with it, especially if you believe time has passed and there might be quality or safety concerns. You can (and should) warn the customer and let them decide, or discard and refund if you truly think it must be tossed.
What doesn’t make sense is unilaterally giving away part of a paid order to another customer while holding the rest for me. That’s not food safety—that’s reassignment of purchased items. 4.
***What your staff told me vs. What HungryPanda confirmed*** At pickup, when I asked why one congee from my paid order was given away, staff did not cite food safety. I was told HungryPanda said it was fine because they couldn’t reach me.
I called HungryPanda right after (agent #105156). They confirmed the platform did not authorize giving my paid item to someone else. Per their policy, if a restaurant makes that call without the customer’s consent, the restaurant bears the risk and consequences.
So the “HungryPanda told us to do it” explanation isn’t true. 5. ***What’s missing: an apology and ownership*** Mistakes happen.
What’s disappointing is there’s still no apology for selling part of a paid order to someone else and then posting a public explanation that doesn’t match what was said to me or what HungryPanda confirmed. A simple “we’re sorry, we shouldn’t have sold part of a paid order……here’s how we’ll prevent it” would’ve gone a long way. To be clear: I paid for two congees and received one because the other was sold to someone else.
I’d appreciate a correction to your public response and a written apology (if not in person).

Custard Bun Delight, Convenient Chow Mein
My experience at this restaurant was primarily focused on the food. The custard bun was the absolute highlight for me, truly exceptional. The egg tart and doughnut were also good, though the doughnut came wrapped in a plastic bag, and its taste reminded me of local Nepali doughnuts, just in different shapes.
For practicality, the chow mein is cheap and convenient, allowing me to easily enhance it later for lunch or dinner.
