I had a 20-minute walk to have lunch at this place, only to discover it was closed for renovation. 😒

Good Food, Bad Service Experience
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The place has a cool atmosphere and offers a good selection of beers and cocktails. The American type food was also good. However, I had a bad service experience two nights in a row. The same bartenders were too busy on their phones and chatting with friends to pay attention to me. I have had good service the other times I was there, so this was disappointing.

Food Great, Service Terrible
My experience at this restaurant was marked by a stark contrast between the food quality and the service. Upon arrival, the place was empty, yet it took an unacceptable amount of time to receive basic necessities like water (10 minutes), drinks (another 15 minutes), and finally to place our order (another 10 minutes). When our appetizers arrived, there were no plates, silverware, or napkins provided. The issues continued with the entrees; one entree arrived incomplete, missing a piece of fish. The second entree was delivered 20 minutes later, and the missing piece of fish for the first entree arrived another 20 minutes after that, having been salvaged from another plate. To add to the frustration, we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the check. The staff, consisting of only two individuals who appeared to be the bartender and manager, seemed overwhelmed and offered no apologies for the numerous service failures. If the service had been up to par, I would have gladly given 5 stars, but it was simply not acceptable.

Excellent Burgers and Service!
What a gem! My experience at the restaurant was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the burgers were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place. A special shout out to our bartender, Jay, who was incredibly friendly and informative. Thanks for a great time, Jay!

Great Bar, Happy Hour Deal
It was a good experience to see this little bar reopened, with what appears to be new management or ownership since Covid. The Happy Hour is a great deal, especially for those of us on different time zones when in Seattle. The frost bar to keep your beer cold is a neat feature. I always stop in when I'm in town.

Long Wait, Moldy Food - Disappointing Experience
My group was a larger party, and unfortunately, the staff only had 2 waitresses for the entire venue. The chefs were new, which contributed to a lengthy wait of about 2. 5 hours for our party to get through appetizers and for the final member to receive their entree. To make matters worse, my last bite of dinner had a bit of mold or something off in it. 😔

Immaculate Food and Great Service
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic. The presentation and taste of the food were immaculate. The service was also great. I particularly enjoyed the Lodge Burger, which I consider one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.

Amazing Brunch Experience!
My Sunday morning brunch experience at this restaurant was fantastic. I found the place through Yelp and am so grateful I did. We were seated right away, and the wait staff was extremely helpful and kind. The food was AMAZING! I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and the cinnamon French toast with fresh berries and raspberry syrup. Everything tasted fabulous! My husband and I didn’t leave anything on the plate. We will be back!

Pleasant Ambiance, Good Food with a Twist
My experience at Denny Lodge was quite pleasant. The ambiance inside was nice, and the service was friendly and prompt. While I visited for food, it struck me as a comfortable place to relax with drinks and friendly staff. I tried the fried pickles, which were expectedly salty but well-prepared. The reuben flatbread was appealing with a good amount of toppings. However, its flavor differed from a typical Reuben, possibly due to the absence of rye bread. The corned beef to kraut ratio was just right, and the delicious mustard sauce was a definite highlight. The flatbread dough itself was unremarkable and might be better suited for a pizza. A rye flatbread could have made it a winner, but overall, I was not disappointed. I'll keep Denny Lodge on my list to return and try other menu items.

Spicy Mojitos and Amazing Cauliflower!
We stopped by to rest our weary soles and had a great experience. We sampled the Delirium on tap, which was very good, but decided to try the Dragon Fire Mojito. I love spicy cocktails, and this one was fantastic! The mint and strawberry puree paired nicely with the Bacardi and jalapenos. For food, we had the Blasted Cauliflower. It was like sweet and sour chicken, but with cauliflower, and it had the perfect cooked crunch and flavoring. There wasn't much left because it was truly amazing.
