Super Breakfast Spot, Will Return!
We had breakfast here several times during our stay and it was always great. The coffee, matcha, bagels, and sandwiches were super, especially the California Crunch! We would gladly come back!

Promising but Ultimately Blah Experience
I really wanted to like Crostini & Java. The menu looked promising, and the café itself seems cute from the outside, but the overall experience was just so very, very blah. Prices feel a little steep for what you get, especially since the portions are average and the food isn’t particularly memorable.
Also, randomly and surprisingly, it doesn’t offer Wi-Fi, which kind of defeats the purpose of a coffee spot where people might want to work or relax online.

Disappointing Execution of Promising Food
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. While the food looked great and seemed to have potential, the execution really missed the mark. My breakfast sandwich was overwhelmed by a mayonnaise spread, making it unpleasant.
The salad, which came pre-dressed with too much dressing, was also a letdown. Both dishes were enough to ruin my morning and lunch. With a few small tweaks, the meal could have been great, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time.

Dreamy Bagels and Friendly Staff!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The bagels were a dream 😍, offering a perfect start to the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I could honestly eat breakfast here every day.
The food and service were both rated a perfect 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was also very pleasant.

Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich Worth It
I visited on a Sunday morning to try their pumpkin spice latte and the ultimate breakfast sandwich with ham. While I discovered that pumpkin spice lattes aren't quite my preference, the sandwich was totally worth it. The initial bites, when it was hot and drippy, were immaculate.
As it cooled, the flavor of the croissant became more pronounced. Despite its seemingly small size, the sandwich was incredibly filling. I highly recommend taking your time to savor your meal here, perhaps enjoying some people-watching or conversation.

Great Neighborhood Spot with a Minor Delivery Issue
My experience at this restaurant was really great! I enjoyed the food, especially the orange juice, and appreciated the gluten-free options. The service was always friendly, contributing to the overall cool neighborhood vibe.
It's my favorite place to eat in SF! However, I do have a criticism, which I've noticed with all SF restaurants: I wish they would deprioritize DoorDash orders. It's frustrating when a large DoorDash order slows down the entire operation, and the delivery drivers in this neighborhood can sometimes be rude.
