Fond Memories of Fine Dining
I have such fond memories of this restaurant. It's sad to hear they closed. Back in 2016, COI was under different management, leading to a different experience compared to those who visited closer to its closure. This was actually my first “fine dining” experience, and it might still be one of the most artful presentation of courses I’ve ever seen.

Disappointing Experience at Coi
I am writing this review with significant disappointment, as I had been looking forward to visiting Coi for quite some time. My experience was particularly disheartening, and I wish I had visited under the previous executive chef. We had a reservation for 8: 30 PM the day before Valentine's Day. Upon arrival, about five minutes early, the staff seemed confused by our reservation, and we had to actively seek someone's attention to let them know we were present. The dining room was sparsely populated, with only two other couples and three open tables. Unfortunately, only one dish truly stood out; the rest were very bland. Despite Coi's history as a three-star restaurant, now demoted to two, I still held high expectations, even considering negative comments. The food presented was vastly different from what is showcased on their website and Instagram – it was very simple and basic, lacking any element that would suggest a Michelin star. We opted for the wine pairing, which was generous enough for two people to share one pairing if that were an option. We observed that tables around us received a thank-you gift of beet gummy bears and toffee, which we did not receive, adding to our disappointment. By the end of the night, our tasting menu totaled $1, 300. For the overall experience, it was definitively not worth the cost, and I would have preferred to spend that money at a different, better restaurant. Coi has been on my top list for a long time, but currently, it's not worth visiting until changes are made.

Amazing Food and Exceptional Service
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic. I absolutely loved the food. The chef was incredibly amazing and quite humble. I had some dietary restrictions, and the chef changed a complete dish just for me, which I thought was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for the lovely experience.

Disappointing Experience, Not Worth the Price
My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. It was not worth the price, and I believe there are many better Michelin stars in town. The food was not original, with the exception of the desserts.

Good Food, Small Portions, Nice Wine
We had a great time here. The quality of the food wasn’t bad at all. The portion size is small but enough for a light dinner. They have a good selection of wine.

Too much veg, not enough meat
My experience at the restaurant was that it was too vegetarian-focused for my liking. Out of 11 options, only 3 included fish or meat. While the food tasted good, it wasn't particularly surprising. Additionally, the presentation of the plates was not as beautiful as it was with the previous menu.

Decadent Food, Elegant Atmosphere
My experience at the restaurant was wonderful. I enjoyed an amazing tasting menu complemented by great service. The atmosphere was elegant without being stuffy. The food was decadent, and the black truffle ice cream was a standout, stealing the show.

Sweet Desserts Ruined a Wonderful Meal
My experience at the restaurant was mostly positive, with an otherwise wonderful meal. However, the desserts were way too sweet, which was not a great way to end the meal.
