Favorite Wonton Noodle Soup!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially with their wonton noodle soup. The savory broth was excellent, and it came with a good amount of wontons. I found the regular size to be the best for most people.
I've been coming here for years, which speaks to the consistent quality.

Craving Congee, Found a Wonderful Meal!
I was craaaaving congee with liver, a taste I deeply miss from my years living in China and a reminder of my second home. This restaurant delivered an absolutely wonderful meal. My sisters and I devoured our dishes and shared veggies.
It was such a familiar dish and incredibly flavorful.

Best Chicken Congee Despite Dive Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the place itself is a bit of a dive, the chicken congee is undeniably the best I've ever had. I've been a loyal customer since my college days in the early 2000s, and the food quality, particularly the congee, has remained consistently excellent.
Although prices have increased over the years, the value for the chicken congee is still there. It's definitely worth coming for the chicken congee.

Springy Noodles and Generous Portions
My experience at the restaurant featured springy & chewy noodles, though I'm unsure if they were handmade in-house. The portion size was generous and the dish came with veggies.

Amazing Wontons and Awesome Soup!
My experience at this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant was fantastic, especially if you're a lover of wontons! The wontons themselves were amazing, and the soup base was equally awesome. I usually order the Wonton Soup and add wide rice noodles.
For those wondering about portion sizes, the large bowl comes with 17 wontons, while the small bowl has 10. This little ma and pa restaurant is a true gem in the heart of the International District and a must-visit.

Authentic Hong Kong Taste Found!
I can’t believe some people question the authenticity of this place. As someone who grew up in Hong Kong, I can confirm that the taste here is spot on and exactly what I remember. The wontons are perfectly sized with a distinct shrimp flavor, unlike the oversized versions often found elsewhere.
The brisket was excellent, and the addition of hot oil brought back such nostalgic memories. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp eggs in the soup that accompanies the dry noodles – a truly classic touch. It's surprisingly difficult to find this authentic taste even in Hong Kong nowadays.
I would gladly travel here again just to experience this again, and I wish I could find this quality where I live!

Disappointing Value and Authenticity
My experience at this restaurant was not impressive, particularly regarding the value of each dish. The quality of wontons and siu kao was definitely not authentic. They were so small that we couldn't taste much flavor or texture.
A small bowl was priced at $13. 99, but the portion size felt more suitable for a child than a main menu item. The siu kau and beef brisket noodle soup contained only three small pieces of beef and three dumplings, which was not filling for an adult.
Other Canton-style restaurants in the area offer portions more comparable to their pricing and deliver more flavor and quality.

Delicious Broth and Quick Service
My experience at the restaurant was very positive. The food we ordered came quickly. My wife and I ordered Wonton & Squidball and Beef Brisket & Wonton Noodle soup.
Both dishes were good, with a broth that was light yet flavorful.
