My experience at this restaurant was delicious! I especially enjoyed the boneless lamb and the salad. I will definitely return.

We made a brief stop to taste the Ethiopian food and we loved it! The service was fast and the food was good. The only thing is, if you don't eat spicy food, let them know when you order 😋

My experience at this restaurant was largely negative. The food was not fresh and tasted like it had been preheated. The service was also poor; the server became mad when I asked questions. To make matters worse, our order was incorrect. We had requested one separate vegan order for someone fasting and another meat combo, but the server brought everything on a single plate and did not correct the mistake. The only positive aspect was the great art around the restaurant. However, outside of the decor, the food was horrible, and I would not recommend this place.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! Every dish was great, and the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. I was also impressed by how affordable it was for the quality of food. The service and atmosphere were also top-notch, both receiving a perfect score. For vegetarians, it's highly recommended. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

My first experience with Ethiopian cuisine was absolutely wonderful! I tried the Zigni, Tibsie beef, and fish, and each dish was packed with incredible flavor. This culinary adventure has definitely made me eager to explore Ethiopian food further.

My experience at the restaurant was centered around their veg sampler, which was excellent. The sampler consisted of: potato and carrot (9. 5/10, excellent), yellow pea (9. 5/10, excellent), and spinach (9. 3/10, great). I also tried a tofu dish which was very good (8/10). I would love to see the menu be fully vegan someday!

I have to say, having come from Oakland, for the price, the portion sizes and taste are a joke, but especially the portions.

My experience at Cafe Ethiopia was a tale of two halves. The food itself was absolutely amazing, particularly the vegetarian options. I can’t remember the last time I had food with so much taste, flavor, and authenticity in San Francisco. However, the restaurant has significant shortcomings. They do not serve coffee, listed beverages, or desserts. Ethiopian food is traditionally eaten by hand, but they failed to provide any napkins or towelettes to clean hands before or after eating. While this restaurant has potential, it clearly lacks the fundamental knowledge of how to run a restaurant. Please don’t be put off by my comments; the food is genuinely really good.
