Delicious Food, Friendly Staff, Late Visit
I've been wanting to try B & J for the longest time and originally feared it might have closed during lockdown a few years ago! Today was the day I finally made it out there, but unfortunately time wise I didn't get there until about 10 minutes to closing! But everything I got to eat there was as delicious and fresh as if I was the first customer in instead of the final order of the day!
Super impressed by this! The staff was wonderfully friendly, too! I didn't even mind going outside and eating my tasty burger and delicious fries!
Very happy!

Great Fries, Good Burger
My experience at the restaurant was quite positive, especially regarding the food. I found the fries to be exceptionally good, noting they were super freshly cut and crispy. The burger also had a very good taste.
The service was excellent, receiving a perfect score, and the atmosphere was rated well. It was a quiet environment, making conversation easy. The overall food rating was high, and there was no wait time.

Deceptive Exterior, Delicious Food!
I was working in the city and was starving. My coworkers recommended this spot. The outside was very deceiving but when I tell ya the food did not disappoint.
I got breakfast with grits, potatoes, eggs, bacon, and toast…EVERYTHING was on point and the service was good too, super friendly and quick. I will absolutely be coming back again!

Burnt Fries Ruin a Craving
I've never really been a huge fan of this place, but I always have eaten there french fries; usually for breakfast. I came in this morning because I was craving a bag of french fries from b&J's. I was so unhappy to receive a bag of burnt chips.
More than half of the bag of french fries I received were unedible. My advice would be stick to the recipe that's been serving the neighborhood for so many years, and keeping your customers coming back. The fries only needed to be cooked a little longer in the past, now they're burnt.
🤦🏽‼️‼️‼️

Great food, unpleasant surroundings
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the food was exceptional, earning a perfect 5 out of 5, the atmosphere was quite unpleasant. The reviewer mentioned that the surroundings were not a pleasant sight while trying to eat, and suggested adding pictures or painting the place.
Despite the visual distractions, the food quality was clearly a highlight.

Mediocre Burger, Tired Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The burger was mediocre, making other establishments feel like fine dining in comparison. The patty was overcooked and appeared to be pre-formed and frozen.
The bun was dry and over-toasted, and the lettuce was limp. The fries, despite being twice fried, were left out too long between frying, resulting in a crusty texture that, combined with their greasiness, made them not worth finishing. They were also under-salted.
Similar to the fries, the interior felt worn and tired, with a noticeable sheen from old oil and poor ventilation. I've encountered delicious hole-in-the-wall restaurants before, but this was not one of them.
