My experience at this bar was fantastic, especially on Fridays. It's the best bar for karaoke around and a must visit. The bartenders are just the best!

I stopped in for some wings to take home for Game 5 of the NBA Finals and was not disappointed! The wings were huge and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere seemed nice and clean, and the service was quick and pleasant. The only knock is that parking can be tight, and the Celtics ended up winning. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back again.

I visited this establishment during a bike ride, intending to order a beer and inquire about hosting my cycling group. Despite the bartender being busy and seemingly the only staff member, I waited patiently to be noticed. Unfortunately, my experience quickly deteriorated. My credit card was given to another customer, and their tab was mistakenly placed on my account. To make matters worse, my card was handed to the other customer, who then left with it. A stranger, who identified himself as a "concerned customer, " interjected himself into my conversation with the bartender, adding to the unnerving situation. Both the bartender and this "concerned customer" claimed they knew the individual who had my card and assured me it would be sorted upon their return, which was not the case. They attempted to "gaslight" me by downplaying the severity of the situation and even offered cash, which I refused as I had multiple other payment methods. The bartender then freely gave me the other customer's card, a gesture that was both baffling and potentially problematic. My card, which was distinct in color and weight, should have been easily identifiable. The "concerned customer" repeatedly interrupted and tried to calm me down, which only escalated my unease. I eventually locked my card via the app. The bartender appeared overwhelmed, needing help and engaging in lengthy conversations with "locals" while ignoring other customers. The cleanliness was also a concern, with glassware scattered and the bartender having to wash my pint glass herself. The pool table also required frequent attention from the bartender, further impacting service. There was no follow-up call from the staff or owner regarding the card incident.

My experience at The LOCAL was fantastic, living up to its name by treating me like a regular. I enjoyed some whiskey in the rocks during happy hour, along with the Philly cheesesteak fries and wings. All the plates were great tasting, and the service and atmosphere were incredibly welcoming. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Sarai, and the bartender, Megan, who both truly made my day. I will definitely be back soon!
