Although I love coming here, Ashely provides the best customer service ever with a great smile. However, the manager was very rude and did not seem to care when I asked for no pickles on my burger. She asked for a receipt, and I explained I was at work and couldn't come back. I showed her my Cash App, but she stated they only make one correction, not all. She then asked why I couldn't just take them off, questioning if I was okay, especially since I mentioned an allergy. I had asked before and still received pickles. If she doesn't care about people's health, that's a problem, and food safety should also be reported because if someone gets sick, she needs to make a report. She didn't care about that at all; her only response was to take them off. Wow, she needs to be restrained. And she's a manager, wow.

The food was also a hit; everyone loved their orders. My son had the chicken burger, my husband enjoyed a cheeseburger, and I had a corndog that was impressively massive. The atmosphere was pleasant, with music that was neither too loud nor too stuffy, a welcome surprise for a touristy spot. We will definitely be back, and we love you Amy!

My first time experiencing such awesome service in the city! We thoroughly enjoyed our burgers. The lady behind the till deserves a pat on the back for remembering everyone's names who was in the restaurant at the time. Well done!

My experience at Great State Burger was an absolute bust. Everything is a la carte, down to the pickles and lettuce. We spent over $85 for 3 burgers, one corn dog, onion rings, and small sodas. The burgers were unbelievably tiny and really tasted like school lunch, with a tiny thin patty and almost no sauce. This was ridiculously disappointing. The corn dog looked overcooked but was mush. The only thing that was good was the onion rings. Our server was very nice and upbeat. I will never enter Great State Burger again and will warn others of the disappointment.
