Hours Wrong, Lost My Time
I made a half an hour drive from the airport, only to find that the hours of operation were wrong. This resulted in a significant loss of my time. It was not good.

Amazing Mofongo and Empanadas!
I’ve been craving mofongo ever since I tried it for the first time in PR a few years ago, so when I found this spot, I was super excited. While this spot is a food truck, there seems to be ample street parking, so I don’t think you’d have any issues there. As for the service, I didn’t really know what combination would work the best, so I basically just asked the super sweet owner(?) to give me whatever they recommended, and wow, everything was so so good 😭💖.
They really hooked me up with all the good stuff. The empanadas (we got the pizza and beef), chuleta, and tostones were still crispy even after a good 25 min drive, and the loaded pork mofongo bowl was herby, creamy, and the meat was perfectly seasoned. Not only were the portions HUGE for the price (like 1 bowl could feed two people), but it brought me back to that PR vacation again.
10/10 would come again.

Authentic Puerto Rican Gem in Seattle!
I just visited today, and I can confidently say this is THE best and ONLY authentic Puerto Rican restaurant in the city of Seattle. As a Puerto Rican myself, I am so tired of fusions and interpretations of my culture's food. This isn't Mexican, Indo-Rican, or any other variation; it's a level of comfort and soul food beyond that.
It's pure, unadulterated Caribbean food, made with pure love. 🔥 I am so happy to finally find a place nearby that truly brings me back to the island.

I was so sad to have missed them! We came around 2: 30pm on a Wednesday. It said open, but maybe they closed after lunch services.

This was by far the best Puerto Rican food I have had since leaving Puerto Rico. The food truly reminds me of home. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was a perfect 5 out of 5.
It was quiet, making it easy to talk. The food itself was also a perfect 5 out of 5.
