I’ve been craving mofongo ever since I tried it for the first time in PR a few years ago, so when I found this spot, I was super excited. While this spot is a food truck, there seems to be ample street parking, so I don’t think you’d have any issues there. I just visited today, and I can confidently say this is THE best and ONLY authentic Puerto Rican restaurant in the city of Seattle. As a Puerto Rican myself, I am so tired of fusions and interpretations of my culture's food. This isn't Mexican, Indo-Rican, or any other variation; it's a level of comfort and soul food beyond that.
It's pure, unadulterated Caribbean food, made with pure love. 🔥 I am so happy to finally find a place nearby that truly brings me back to the island.
