My experience at Brooklyn Pizza was extremely frustrating. I arrived at 4: 58 PM, the time my online order stated it would be ready, only to be told my pizza hadn't even been started. The cook indicated the owner was supposed to begin it, and I waited 30 minutes. When I inquired about an update, the owner rudely stated, “Oh, we haven’t started that yet, ” dismissing the cook’s earlier estimate of five minutes by calling him “confused. ” This was uncomfortable and unfair to the staff. The owner was disrespectful to both me and his employees. Other online order customers also faced long waits without communication or apology. When I requested a refund, I was directed to “take it up with the app” (Slice), with no assistance or accountability offered. The lack of organization, the extended wait for an unstarted order, and the rude treatment of customers and staff mean I will not be returning. It was a very disappointing experience.

My experience at this restaurant was truly phenomenal! I haven't found a place like it, not even in New York. The ingredients and taste are simply astonishing. This place is amazing and definitely special to try; it's a gem like no place else!

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I ordered a slice of the margarita pizza and it was incredibly delicious. The owner was exceptionally nice and even gave me free garlic knots. The atmosphere was also amazing. I highly recommend this place!

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is a super cool guy. The pizza was great with amazing flavor, and the sauce also had a wonderful taste. I particularly enjoyed the garlic knots, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I even bought a whole pie for my coworkers, and they've since started going there for lunch too.

My experience at this restaurant was wonderful! The owner was incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home during my first visit. The food here also brought back memories of New England, and it's clear everything is made with love. I will definitely be returning! ☺️

I discovered this place through the app Too Good To Go and was pleasantly surprised. We received 6 slices of a variety of pizza, including cheese, pepperoni, white pizza, pepperoni pineapple and jalapeño, pepperoni and ricotta, and a couple more, as well as garlic knots. We LOVED the garlic knots and would definitely recommend them. The pizza was very tasty, and I even enjoyed the ricotta on the pizza despite not being a ricotta fan. My only complaint was that the crust got a bit difficult to eat once it was cold. Other than that, I'd love to give this place another try to see what else they have to offer! Be mindful, it is a small place with not a lot of seating, so would not recommend dine-in for large parties. It's also good for grab and go slices of pizza.

As someone from the East Coast, I've found it challenging to find good pizza in San Diego. However, A Brooklyn Pizzeria truly delivers quality. The pizza has the perfect balance of cheese, a delicious sauce, and a crispy, perfectly cooked bottom that isn't floppy. If this describes your ideal pizza, this is the place to be. Additionally, the staff are consistently super friendly and kind.

As someone from New York, I've just had my third slice and it truly doesn't disappoint. In my opinion, this is the closest you'll get to New York pizza, and regardless, the pizza itself is great! My experience was highly positive, with the food receiving a perfect score. The service and atmosphere were also rated excellently, contributing to an overall fantastic dining experience.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I made a mistake with the slice app and ordered close to closing time. Despite this, they still made the effort to prepare my order. The staff was incredibly sweet, and when they ran out of salad, they generously gave us extra free pizza and some garlic knots 🫶🫶. I've been here a few times and can truly say they are awesome. I also recommend getting the wings; you won't be disappointed!
