Convenient Location, Drink Line Issue
My experience at this restaurant was marked by its convenient location, situated right at the foot of the skytram. However, a significant downside was the wait time for drinks. Even if you're only ordering beverages, you still have to queue behind customers ordering food. A dedicated drink checkout would greatly improve the experience.

Delicious Wings, Service Issues
I had a warm welcome at the restaurant. The line moved quickly, which indicated a good system in place. The chicken wings were absolutely delish! However, I was disappointed that the Nathan's Chili wasn't ready when I wanted it.

Poor Service and Inconsistent Policies
My experience at this restaurant was marred by poor customer service. The workers seemed indifferent and lacked basic customer service training. When I picked up my order, the staff member was dismissive. My daughter received a drink refill, but my son and I were denied, with the staff citing 'store policy' that refills were only for water. This inconsistency, especially when the female worker then refilled my daughter's drink, was frustrating. I believe the establishment needs customer service training and potentially a staff overhaul.

Amazing Food and Service at Busy Bee Cafe
My experience at Busy Bee Cafe was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was amazing. A special shout-out to Adrian, an employee who went above and beyond with his great service. He made me feel so welcomed, we had an amazing conversation, and his recommendations did not disappoint. I will definitely be coming back.

Busy Bee Cafe: A Delightful Zoo Stop
My experience at the Busy Bee Cafe, located within the San Diego Zoo, was overwhelmingly positive. It's a hot and busy place, which is a testament to the huge demand for its beverages and snacks. Despite the long lines, the collection and taking of orders were quite efficient. I personally enjoyed the veg burger and the ice tea. My granddaughters loved the French fries. The cafe offers a nice place with shaded seating, perfect for enjoying your food. I also appreciated the free water provided to everyone who asked, delivered with a smile. The vibes in the cafe are great, and I was very, very happy to visit. I believe it's one of the best places to see happy footfalls, and I will visit again.

Incredible Food, Horrible Service
I'm writing this review the day after my visit because I didn't want to forget the details. My experience with the service was unfortunately horrible. While the first two staff members I interacted with were decently nice, the gentleman working the register, possibly named John, was truly awful. He didn't smile once and seemed disgusted with everyone. He even went to take the beeper from my 6-year-old's hand without asking for it, which was quite rude. However, the food was absolutely incredible! We enjoyed the pizza, honey sriracha wings, shoestring fries, and a fruit cup with yogurt. Everything was delicious. The pizza was hot and the correct size, unlike what some other reviewers experienced. The wings were mind-blowing. Despite the excellent food, they desperately need to replace the person at the register. I'm very glad his poor attitude didn't deter me from enjoying the amazing food.

Overpriced and Overcooked at the Zoo
My experience was one of disgusting overcooked food that had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for quite a while. The service was absolute trash. I was charged $30 for a soggy corn dog with cold fries and a soggy chicken strip kids meal, plus an additional $19. 25 for ONE BEER! To top it off, they couldn't even ensure it was fresh. I'm seriously pissed and feel like I was scammed for $49 at the San Diego zoo. I genuinely thought this place would have a shred of ethical business practice.

Pizza disappointing, burger a hit
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The pizza was disappointingly tiny and did not feel worth the cost. However, the burger was a much better option and a more satisfying choice.

Disappointing Hotdogs, Good Sandwich
My experience involved ordering two children's hotdog meals and a chicken sandwich. The hotdogs arrived immediately but were clearly old, appearing shriveled, wrinkled, and hard in places. I was informed that replacements would take 30-45 minutes. The chicken sandwich, however, took 30 minutes to arrive and was actually good. This experience reinforced the lesson to bring my own food to the zoo, as not all options are good.

Terrible Service and Manager!
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I paid for my food and then had to wait over 30 minutes. To make matters worse, everyone who arrived after me received their orders. I ended up having to get a refund, and the manager was garbage. I will never again return to this establishment.
