Lively Atmosphere and Great Service
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! There’s always something happening here, with live French musicians on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, Trivia on Sundays, and Bingo night on Tuesdays. The atmosphere is quiet enough for conversation, yet lively with the background music.
Tim, our server, did a fantastic job and helped us get the best items on the menu.

Disappointing Experience with Owner Interaction
We visited with a larger group of six, including a toddler. The outside seating was pleasant, but the happy hour felt somewhat weak. A significant issue arose with the owner's behavior; they were described as being like a hawk and overly pushy when we declined additional items.
The most upsetting part was the rudeness experienced when the owner attempted to pull utensils from a child's hands while cleaning up. It was felt that instead of a tug-of-war with a toddler, the owner could have waited a few minutes for the parents to retrieve the utensils, especially since the child was well-behaved. While the wine was decent, the overall energy felt off.
The owner's response to our Yelp review was also a complete distortion of the facts. We will not be returning and will instead support kinder local businesses. Having lived in SF for 15 years and frequently dining with children, this was an unprecedentedly negative experience.

Disappointing Pasta, Good Seating
I came for dinner with a friend on a Sunday and was seated immediately. I had the $29 wild mushroom pasta with chicken, and it was honestly a bit disappointing. The pasta itself was cooked to a nice al dente and seemed good quality.
However, the mushroom flavour was very mild and it was more like a pure cream sauce. There was a fair portion of chicken, but it was a bit dry and I wasn't a fan of the charred flavour. Sunday is trivia night if you're into that tho.

Delicious Pasta and Attentive Service
My experience at the restaurant was wonderful. I enjoyed a delicious mushroom pasta dish, perfectly complemented by a lovely orange wine pairing. The service was attentive, and the greeter was really nice, seating me exactly where I wanted for a quiet early dinner.
I will definitely be back!

Great Wine Bar with Live Music
My experience at this wine bar was fantastic. Beyond the excellent wine selection, I was pleasantly surprised by their burger. The atmosphere is lively with a live band every night, making it a great spot for an enjoyable evening.
I'm happy to be a member here. A special shout out to Paul, we'll miss you!

Fabulous Wine Bar and Eatery!
My experience at Scopo Divino was truly lovely, especially during happy hour. The owner, Tim, was behind the bar and a pleasure to chat with, as was the bartender, Yoko. We savored the oysters, which were perfection.
The fish tacos and meatballs were also outstanding. The wine was equally impressive. We highly recommend this fabulous wine bar and eatery to all.

Delicious Bottomless Brunch Surprise!
Before Scopo Divino, I had never experienced a bottomless brunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The food here is exceptional; they truly know how to cook. Even a salad was one of the most delicious things I've had.
My expectations for the rest of the meal were high, and Scopo Divino did not disappoint. We enjoyed perfectly fried beignets (fluffy inside with a nice chew), served with caramel and chocolate – highly recommended if you like beignets. The waffles were fluffy, and the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, and sausages was flavorful.
The price for this bottomless experience, as of March 2025, is $55 per person, provided you can finish what you eat and drink. My only minor critique is that the service was a bit slow. However, as this was my first visit, I might have caught them on an off day, so I'm not docking too many points.
I would go back in a heartbeat!

Chicken Portion Disappointing, Taste Good
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and while the taste was good, described as comfort food, I was disappointed with the portion size of the chicken. It was very small, measuring about 3x4x0.
5 inches and only one piece. This led me to feel like they may have downgraded their food, as the photos people posted previously looked different from what we were served. I wondered if we were just served less than usual.
The waffles tasted normal. Overall, the food quality, particularly the chicken portion, was a letdown, though the flavor was enjoyable.

Cute French Cafe Vibe, Mixed Food Experience
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of charming atmosphere and average food. I was really looking forward to visiting, and the vibes were indeed cute. The place has a lovely French cafe vibe with comfortable couches and smaller tables, and the decor, featuring many wine bottles, was cool.
They often have live music, which adds to the atmosphere. However, the wine bottle ceiling lamps and the bottles themselves looked incredibly dusty, impacting the overall cleanliness. The food itself was just alright, nothing too exciting.
The veggie pasta was a bit bland, and the chicken Milanese was stringy in one of the two pieces. The bread was also a bit burnt. On a positive note, the chocolate torte was really good.

Restaurant Week Dinner Mixed Bag
During Restaurant Week, the happy hour oysters were delicious, but a drink purchase was required. The Restaurant Week dinner courses were mediocre, with most dishes being a bit bland or featuring flavor combinations that didn't work well. Even the Tiramisu, while the best of the desserts, was too sweet and lacked depth in flavor.
