Amazing Food and Service!
My experience at this restaurant was amazing! I used to come here every week with my partner when we lived in the city. The food quality is consistently great and it comes out fast.
The service is wonderful, and the manager is a delight! I don't understand why it only has 4. 3 stars.
I highly recommend trying the spicy pork and the glass noodles!

Fantastic Kimchi-jjigae on a Cold Day
My experience at this restaurant was exactly what I needed on a cold, rainy afternoon after driving for hours to SF. The Kimchi-jjigae was fantastic, the place felt cozy, and the server was super nice and attentive. It was a perfect lunch.

Mixed Experience with Sweet and Dry Dishes
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The Rice Cake Stew was rated a 2, described as insanely sweet with ramen. The Pork Belly, also rated a 2, was served in thin slices and was way too dry.
The Korean Egg Omelet received a 3, noted as tender but not flavorful. The Army Stew was disappointing with a rating of 2, mostly ramen and not enough meat. The Dumpling Stew, rated 3, had dumplings that were not flavorful.
The Kimchi Pancake was crispy on the outside but lacked seafood, earning a 3. The Kimchi Fried Rice had small shrimp and was not flavorful, rated 2. The Short Rib Soup was rated 3, described as too stringy and getting stuck in teeth, though the soup itself was flavorful.
Finally, the Cheese Corn was cheesy but too sweet, with a rating of 3. Service was rated 3, Atmosphere was rated 2, and Food was rated 2.

Dependable Korean Comfort Food
707 is a great go-to Korean restaurant, especially if you’re in the Union Square area. It’s close to my office, so I like to stop by for dinner after work. The food is consistently good — I’ve been here many times and it always hits the spot.
Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying and dependable. I’d give it a 3. 5/5 overall.
Great option if you’re craving Korean comfort food in the area!

A Korean Food Gem!
I was traveling for work and was really craving Korean food. This place was a saving grace! I went in for lunch on a Tuesday and it was completely empty, which initially made me worry, but I was completely wrong!
The kimchi stew and rolled egg were super delicious. Even the side dishes (banchan) all tasted better than any other Korean restaurants I've been to. Looking at the menu and the interior vibe, it seemed like a great place to go out for late dinner and drinking with friends.

Average Experience with a Delicious Appetizer
My experience at the restaurant was generally average, though with some standout moments. We started with the corn cheese as an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. The small side dishes served with rice were also enjoyable, particularly the crispy vegetables with an egg-based sauce, the cooked fish skin, and a darker, seaweed-like dish with a pickled sauce.
For our main courses, we had the stir-fried pork and BBQ chicken. Both were well-prepared and served in generous portions. Overall, it was an okay experience – nothing particularly outstanding or surprising, except for the corn cheese, but also nothing bad.
The only significant drawback was the noticeable greasy smell from the glasses, which affected the overall impression a bit when drinking water. The atmosphere was rated a 4, and the service was excellent at a 5, with a quiet noise level making conversation easy.

Best Korean Food in SF!
My 60-something parents and I were traveling, and even though I took them to many highly-rated restaurants in San Francisco, they said this place was the most delicious! (Haha) We ate the Dolsot Bibimbap and Kimchi Sundubu Jjigae. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and it's a great place to go when you're craving Korean food, especially if you're bringing elders.
It's incomparably better than Korean Kimbap Cheonguk in Korea. While LA has Bukchangdong Sundubu, SF has 707 Sutter. Wishing you continued success!
