Delicious Food, Excellent Service!
My experience at this restaurant was reminiscent of the service in Japan. The FOOD WAS delicious. I particularly enjoyed the citrus soba and highly recommend getting the spicy sauce on the side.
Everything was great, and I can't wait to go back.

Amazing Soba, Worth the Wait
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, particularly with their amazing dipping soba, which brought back memories of Kyoto. While there's often a long line, I'd imagine it's shorter on weekdays. I definitely recommend trying the cold soba if it's your first visit.
The service and food were both rated a perfect 5, and the atmosphere was also excellent, described as quiet and easy to talk in.

Incredible Food and Serene Atmosphere
My experience at this incredible little restaurant was truly great. Despite a line wrapping around the block for lunch, patience was rewarded with a wonderful experience. Ordering is done via screen, and seating is managed efficiently.
The atmosphere fosters a sense of respect, mindfulness, and presence, with everything happening in an organized and timely manner. It's not too loud, and the close proximity of diners creates a harmonious and nice-to-experience ambiance. The food is delicious!
I enjoyed a cold soda with a tempura set, and we shared an extra tempura and a coated dessert. I left feeling full and satisfied. This is a quality addition to Japantown, and I would definitely return.

Exceptional Soba in San Francisco
My experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional, offering soba that rivals or even surpasses most I've tried in Japan. It's easily one of the best restaurants in all of San Francisco. The soba, made with 100% buckwheat, had a perfect, slightly firm texture and a wonderful aroma that permeated even the broth.
The hot soba's broth was absolutely exquisite, a flawless balance of flavors with a delicate touch of yuzu pepper. Aside from the price, everything about this place is top-notch!

Delicious Soba, Worth the Wait
My experience at this restaurant was definitely worth the wait. Due to the limited seating of only 11 seats, it's advisable to arrive early or eat beforehand to avoid a potentially long queue. The menu is refreshingly simple yet incredibly delicious.
I particularly enjoyed the clams special soba and zaru soba combination. While the noodles are not made fresh in-house, they are expertly prepared and packed with umami flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
For those who appreciate seafood soups, the hot clam broth truly elevated the soba, making it an instant favorite. The hot clam sweetness was a standout element that made the soba an instant winner.

Authentic Soba Noodles Worth the Wait
This is a Mom and Pop type of place with limited seating. The soba noodles are made from scratch and are extremely authentic and delicious! There might be a bit of a wait depending on when you go, but it's definitely worth stopping by to see what it is all about!

Flavorful Broth and Good Soba, Long Wait
My experience at the restaurant involved enjoying a very flavorful fish broth and good soba. I visited on a Thursday around 1 pm and experienced a significant wait, about an hour, before being seated. Fortunately, the wait time decreased after 2: 20 pm.
The food was rated a 5, and the atmosphere was also rated a 5. The service received a 5, and the price per person was between $20–30. The noise level was moderate.

Good Food, Poor Service Interaction
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was pretty good, earning a 4 out of 5. However, the service was a significant letdown, rated at 2 out of 5.
The chef was a little rude; after calling out my number and handing me my tray, about 10 minutes later, he approached me to say I had taken the wrong order. I apologized and explained I had simply taken what was given to me. He dismissed me curtly and walked away, making for a pretty curt interaction overall.
The atmosphere was pleasant, scoring a 4 out of 5.

Worth the wait for delicious food!
If you don’t go before they open, you will wait long in line because they only have 11 seats inside. I was getting impatient in line but after tasting the food it made the wait feel worth it. So delicious!
Want them to give me the recipe.
