Amazing Meals, Large Portions!
Wandered past this place with friends and decided to give it a go. Our meals were all amazing! And very large portions which I appreciate.
No room for desert at all. Music was at a good level. My friend had plenty of gluten free options.
Voted the best meal of our trip.

Highly Recommended Local Gem
My experience at this restaurant was very pleasant. It's a small local place with a well-equipped and very agreeable terrace. The service was good, and the food was very good.
I highly recommend it and would definitely return.

Disappointing Food and Loud Atmosphere
I visited Barbara on a Friday evening as it was the only place without a significant wait. We ordered a pizza and a pasta. The Francisco pizza was more akin to a flatbread, unremarkable except for its crust, which was the best part.
The pappardelle funghi was overwhelmingly flavored with heavy cream, lacking any discernible truffle oil or mushroom taste. The atmosphere was a nightmare; with numerous birthday celebrations, the restaurant played Farruko’s “Pepas, ” dimmed the lights, and amplified the volume. This is the place if you're looking for an environment full of "wooo girls.
" Next time, I'll ensure I have a reservation at North Beach to avoid returning here.

Gritty Italian Hipster Spot with Great Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was after a Broadway show on a Friday night. The atmosphere was great, with good energy and a gritty and authentic contemporary Italian hipster aesthetic. It was refreshing compared to the tired and cliché Italian American tourist spots in the neighborhood.
However, while the atmosphere was a highlight, there is better pizza to be had in town, and I wasn’t impressed with my cocktail. Despite these food and drink critiques, it's worth it for the atmosphere, and I would go back again if in the neighborhood.

Authentic Italian Taste and Delightful Service
We visited this restaurant during the holidays after a trip to Italy, and to our surprise, the food tasted just the same as if we were actually in Italy. The service was so delightful too. We initially just wanted to use the restroom while exploring the city, but I’m so glad we decided to eat here.
We will definitely want to come back.

Awesome Bar Experience in North Beach
My experience dining at the bar was awesome. It's my first choice when visiting North Beach. The food received a perfect score of 5, and the service was equally impressive with a score of 5.
The atmosphere was rated 4, and the noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk.

Best Italian Experience Ever!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional. We enjoyed what might be the best Italian food we have ever had, from the bruschetta to every single dish and the pizza to the desserts. The atmosphere was amazing, contributing to a great overall experience.
I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Mediocre Experience All Around
My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing. The staff were rude, and the music was intensely loud EDM, creating a generally bad vibe. The tables were also uneven and shifted, adding to the discomfort.
Unfortunately, the food was also just mid.

Reservation Nightmare, No Apology
TLDR: they overbooked and didn’t seat my reservation (made weeks ago) for 10 people. Rather than being upfront about it the staff gave me vague answers and were not apologetic. I made a reservation last night for an indoor table group of 10 people for my husband’s birthday.
We arrived on time at 7: 30pm and they said it’s a 30 min+ for an outdoor table (it was windy and no heaters at the table). I said no, I’d like the original inside table we made the reservation for. They said they weren’t sure when that would be available.
I walk inside to see for myself when an inside table might be available since no one would give me a straight answer on timing and I see they’ve JUST seated multiple large parties inside (it’s not like there were tables that dined earlier and were staying long and that’s why table wasn’t available). Instead of just admitting the mistake and apologizing and saying “we overbooked I’m sorry” the host just said “you can maybe wait if you want”…. Which would have made no sense we would’ve been seated 2 hours past our original reservation time if we waited.
I will never go back here…you can’t just mess up reservations for a large party with no apology. Thankfully Firenze by night (which is right down the street) had an opening so we went there instead and they were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Delicious Tortellini and Lively Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I absolutely loved the tortellini, describing them as smooth, creamy, and tender little pillows of flavor. The atmosphere was equally impressive, with upbeat music and a lively vibe.
The service and food both received a perfect 5-star rating, and there was no wait time.
