My experience at Heroic Italian was fantastic! I highly recommend the Polpette sandwich and spicy tomato soup combo – it's a non-negotiable choice. The food was phenomenal, served hot, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. The soup had a creamy texture with a pleasant kick of spice, and the sandwich was generously packed with delicious meatballs, peppers, and sweet caramelized onions. It's truly a perfect lunch spot, complemented by their expert wine selection. Definitely stop in for a great meal!

As a celiac, finding gluten-free pasta that actually tastes like pasta can be a challenge, but this place has GOOD PASTA. The tomato sauce was great, and the meatballs were tasty. I also enjoyed a nice Malbec from the shared wine place, Swirl, which offered excellent customer service.

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was very good, with the Prosciutto being amazing. However, the ordering process via QR code, where payment and tip are required before being served, and the lack of waitstaff made the experience feel impersonal. While the food was excellent, the service model detracted from the overall dining experience.

As a local neighbor and business owner, Heroic Italian has become my go-to for a quick bite and client luncheons. My favorites are the cesar salad with chicken and the OMG sandwich. Yesterday, Dave and his crew exceeded all expectations by catering a client event with 28 lunch boxes, featuring 4 different sandwiches. My guests were wowed by the presentation and couldn't get over how flavorful the sandwiches were, from the bread (deelish!) to the meats, not to mention the generous portions. I've already told 40 people about your special menu and restaurant. Thanks, Dave, to you and your crew for the fabulous lunches and over-the-top service! I'll be back for more!

A great perk is the option to get a glass of wine from their selection to enjoy with your meal. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable, making for a perfect lunch.

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I found the sandwich to be way too expensive for its size and the lack of quality in ingredients. I expected much more, especially considering the sandwich was already small.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially considering I don't usually love tinned fish. Their tinned fish was absolutely amazing! The sandwich was also a perfect 10/10. The food quality was clearly a highlight, with both the tinned fish and the sandwich exceeding expectations.

I needed a quick solution for a last-minute guest who was stopping by for happy hour, so I ordered through DoorDash. I was hoping for a better presentation of the salame and cheese. I wondered if the restaurant could use bento boxes or other disposable trays. The olives were all over the place, as was everything else, including the bread. It was a hot mess! I suggested using ramekins with lids, as there has to be a better way to present these items.

However, I found it to be quite expensive for the size of the sandwich; I was expecting something 1. 5-2 times larger given the price. We chose to eat outside in one of the sidewalk booths, but it was a bit cold and breezy. I'm unsure if indoor seating is available in the wine bar, so it might be wise to watch the weather before dining here.

Run, don't walk, to get one of these sandwiches – they're incredible. The bread is perfect. While the price is expensive, you definitely get what you pay for! A glass of good wine from the wine shop in the same building doesn't hurt either.
