Great Burger and Beer Experience
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the tavern burger, cooked medium, and it was so good that it was a 'wash your hands afterwards' kind of great. The fries were also delicious.
To top it off, the lager from Russian River was perfect. It was a great meal, especially while watching the Dodgers struggle in the World Series.

Good Burger and People Watching
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive. I enjoyed a good burger and found the roasted Brussels sprouts to be excellent. It's a great place for people watching if you can secure a seat by the window.
The metadata indicates it's suitable for kids, has paid street parking (though difficult to find), and is a good option for lunch with a price range of $20–30 per person. The atmosphere was rated 5, service 4, and food 4.

Disappointing Policy Change on Vegetarian Options
My experience was disappointing due to the restaurant's updated policy on vegetarian options. I was told I couldn't swap bacon for a plant-based alternative without paying an extra charge. This is particularly frustrating as the price for smoked bacon and plant-based bacon is the same ($3).
I used to be a regular here, but it seems the policies have changed, leading to a less accommodating experience for vegetarians.

Overpriced Burger, Lacking Flavor
My experience was disappointing. I paid $30 for a double burger, and to make matters worse, they forgot the cheese. The flavor was really basic, and it was definitely not worth the price.

Disappointing Burger, Good Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing due to the food. The burger was very bland and a letdown. The patty itself had zero flavor, and the toppings didn't complement it well.
I also found the bun to be excessively large for no apparent reason. It was impossible to see the kitchen or smell anything cooking. While the atmosphere was good, the food quality did not match.
The price point is also a concern; a beer and burger alone cost $28, and adding fries and a shake would bring the total to $50 for one person.

Disappointing Execution of Great Ingredients
On paper, the ingredients at this restaurant sound fantastic and original, but the execution left much to be desired. I'm not sure what was more disappointing: getting my lukewarm garlic french fries 10 minutes before my lukewarm hamburger, or noticing that other reviews suggest the french fry orders have shrunk in size. While I enjoyed the fries, they were cold, and it felt odd that they arrived as appetizers long before the main course.
The garlic flavor was excellent, but the cold temperature made them unappetizing. We waited a considerable time for the hamburgers, which arrived well after the fries. I suspect the restaurant prioritizes Uber Eats orders, as many drivers were picking up while we waited.
My build-your-own burger had dry meat that felt like it had been sitting for a while, and it was warm but bordering on cold. Paying extra for the brioche bun wasn't worth it. The bacon was cold but still very tasty.
The $11 milkshake was also a letdown; it was tasty but surprisingly small, even the "LARGE" size. We have very different definitions of "large. " It was not a good value.
For lunch for two, including a build-your-own burger, my wife's burger, an iced tea, and a large milkshake, the total came to $90 with tip. It's unfortunate because they have good ingredients but miss in the execution. They need to decide if they are a sit-down restaurant or an Uber Eats kitchen.

Burger Not Worth the Price
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I didn't taste a difference with my burger compared to a fast-food burger. Furthermore, the portion was smaller in comparison to a less costly fast-food burger.
While the service and atmosphere received high marks, the food quality and value were not up to par for the price.

Disappointing Meal, Good Service
I hadn't eaten here in years and was super disappointed. My burger, the fries burger, was meh and borderline not good. My partner also disliked her burger and the soup.
However, the veggies and salad plate were good, featuring very fresh ingredients. I also asked for a Coke but was served an alternative soda which I did not like; while serving alternatives is fine, customers should be warned. The service was fast and friendly, but despite that, I won’t go back.

Delicious Burgers, Great Variety & Value
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed a true burger with lots of flavor. The diverse choice where you can compose your own burger was a highlight, along with a good selection of beers.
Everything was also affordable for the whole family.
