Local Dim Sum Favorite with Kid-Friendly Charm
This is one of our local favorites for dim sum specialties. The dumplings are, of course, the star attraction, but I also really enjoy the wonton soup, garlic green beans, and fried chicken wings. It's also very kid friendly; my toddler loves going here and watching the Chinese cooking show they have playing on the TVs. If you're around for the lunch special (dine in only), it's also a great deal!

Disappointing Dumplings and Dry Dishes
My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing, with only the Dan Dan noodle standing out as good. The dumplings were inferior compared to other chains like All Other Dumpling Time and Dumpling Kitchen. I strongly advise against ordering the shrimp scallop dish, which was mostly flour with no discernible shrimp taste, and the scallop resembled what's used in rice dishes.
The specialty fried dumplings were also excessively dry, as were all the dishes, with a thick and dry texture. It was evident that quality was not a priority, especially when I reported the issue with the shrimp. Other chains offering similar quality include Hayes, Fillmore, Noe (near Castro), and the Design District.
The atmosphere was not comfortable; it was too loud, and while other chains can also be crowded and loud, this establishment exceeded social standards for noise levels.

Decent Dumplings, Shabby Space
Our experience at this dumpling house was a mix of practical positives and some notable drawbacks. On the plus side, the dumplings are decent, and the prices are fair. The steady stream of delivery drivers suggests its main business is takeout.
For walk-in customers like us, this meant there was no wait and plenty of available seating, which was a convenience. However, the physical space could use some attention; it felt a bit shabby and worn. A more significant issue for us was the menu's lack of vegetarian main courses.
Aside from a few appetizers, there were very limited options for anyone in our party who was vegetarian, making it a difficult choice for a group with mixed dietary needs. In summary, this is a functional spot for a quick, affordable meal of decent dumplings, especially if you're dining in and want to avoid a wait. However, the shabby interior and the near-total lack of vegetarian entrees make it difficult to recommend for group dining or for those seeking a more polished experience.
As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review. We offer this feedback to help other diners make an informed choice.

Good dumplings, bland wonton
My experience at the restaurant was mostly positive, with some areas for improvement. I found the dumplings and shumai to be very good. However, the Hong Kong wonton with noodles was super bland as served.
This is just an FYI for others. Other than that, the food was great.

Favorite Dumpling Spot for To-Go
I've only ever ordered to-go from this restaurant, but it's currently my favorite dumpling place in the city. I especially love their fried pork bao; they are so juicy and delicious, and I have to order them every time.

Disappointing Drive for Mediocre Dumplings
I drove into the city after seeing this spot on TikTok, and it was quite a disappointment. At prime lunch hour, we were the only ones seated, which should have been the first red flag. The service was attentive and friendly, but unfortunately, the food just didn’t deliver.
We ordered the pan-fried dumplings, pork xiao long bao, shrimp gyozas, and scallion pancakes. All of it was just…meh. I’ve had far better at dumpling restaurants in the East Bay for a fraction of the effort.
Overall, not worth the hype or the drive.

Oily Potstickers and Soggy Pancakes
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The veggie potstickers and scallion pancakes were unfortunately too oily, with the scallion pancakes being particularly soggy. The mango pudding was just okay, and the spinach dumplings were also just alright.
On a positive note, the service was excellent, receiving a perfect score, and the atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation. The restaurant offers a decent number of vegetarian options, and the price per person falls within the $20–30 range.

The dumplings and noodles were some of the tastiest I've had. I also appreciated the great prices, flavorful drinks, and the convenience of takeaway, which is perfect for enjoying their delicious food at home. It's a true neighborhood treasure!

Good Food, Great Tea
My experience at the restaurant was positive. The food was generally okay, with the dumplings being above average. I'd recommend the noodle soups for sharing.
The chrysanthemum tea was also great. I recommend trying this place if you are in the area.
