Authentic Flavors, Must-Try Off-Menu Gem
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially with their braised pork belly with mustard greens, which tasted just like my momma makes it. I also consistently order the salted egg yolk fish with pumpkin slices. While not on the menu, the boss lady will happily make it if you ask.
If you're a fan of salted egg yolk, this dish is an absolute must-try here.

Authentic Hakka Food at Reasonable Prices
My experience at this older restaurant, likely over 20 years old, was positive. The establishment is well maintained, and the patrons were predominantly older Chinese individuals, many of whom appeared to be frequent visitors. I enjoyed tasty traditional Hakka food, described as "old school, " at very reasonable prices.
The food quality was excellent, rated a 5, and the service was also good, rated a 4. The atmosphere was rated a 4. There was no wait time, and I was dining alone.

Generous Portions, Photo Menus
The restaurant was very good. If you don't speak English or Chinese, all the dishes are displayed in photos. Be aware of the enormous quantities!
Take 3 dishes for 5 people 😋. You can also take leftovers home.

Charming Spot for Authentic Hakka Food
This is a nice little spot in the outer Richmond for Chinese/Hakka food. It's greatly suited for small and large parties sharing family-style. The food here reminded me of childhood meals I would have with my family.
I got the stirred noodles which had a lot of wok hay in the dish, meaning it was wok fried to perfection. We also got the fried tofu and fish fillet casserole, which is always a main staple. I love the mushrooms inside.
However, I did find it a bit salty. Overall, I love this place and would love to come back.

Favorite Dish and Great Lunch Deals!
I would highly recommend this place because they have my favorite dish. I visited during lunch time and noticed they have great deals. You must try the fried Pumpkin salty egg; it's truly the reason why I love this place.

Delicious Food, Worth the Trip
I had walked by this restaurant several times before, but I finally decided to try it after learning that my brother-in-law's sister travels from Castro Valley specifically to eat here. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the Pork Belly with Shrimp Paste, Pan Fried Tofu, and Half Steamed Chicken.
The restaurant itself is clean and features many photos to aid in ordering. I'm eager to return and try the Roasted Squab, though I missed out this time as it requires an hour's advance request. The service was excellent, rated a 5 out of 5.

Hidden Gem with Superior Food
I stumbled upon this place while getting lost near the Golden Gate Bridge and it turned out to be a hidden gem. It's clear this is a family-run establishment, and the staff are incredibly delightful and attentive. While there's a similar restaurant nearby, this one offers superior food, though it's a shame it's not as busy.
My go-to order is always the potstickers and vermicelli. I wish I lived in the city to enjoy their Doordash or delivery options. Although the menu is primarily in Mandarin with limited English, the food is so delicious that you'll easily overlook this.
Parking is limited, and I sometimes have to walk several blocks, but it's absolutely worth it.

Delicious Noodles and Pork Belly!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious, and I genuinely loved everything we ordered. The noodle/chow mein had a surprisingly interesting texture, reminiscent of pan-fried noodles, which was a pleasant surprise.
The pork belly and stuffed chicken were undoubtedly the highlights of my meal during my visit.

Excellent Chicken and Tofu, Friendly Service
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I particularly enjoyed the very good Chicken with sticky rice, which offered something different from what's typically found elsewhere. The chicken was incredibly crispy!
I also loved the great tofu and the salted egg pumpkin. The steamed pork belly was just 'OK' – not mind-blowing, but still good to order. The service was fast, and despite having only one waiter, they were very efficient and friendly.
I would definitely return if I visit SF again. The restaurant is located in a nice residential neighborhood with free street parking, though finding a spot might require some circling.
