Mixed Feelings on a Culinary Adventure
My experience at the restaurant was a mix of hits and misses. The Cauliflower Creme Brulee was a creative dish, resembling creme brulee with a slightly sweet mashed cauliflower base, earning a 4. The Steamed Manila Clams were decent, though the wine sauce was a bit too sour. The Day Boat Scallop Sashimi was refreshing with thin slices, dry seaweed, and kiwi, rated a 4. However, the Grilled Octopus was disappointing, described as sous vide but not chewy, and excessively salty, receiving a 2. The Grilled Millbrook Vension was also a letdown, noted as too dense and lean, scoring a 2. On a positive note, the Braised Beef Short Ribs were tender and well-executed, earning a 4. For dessert, the Vanilla and Lime Posset was softer than flan but also too sour. The overall food score was 4, with service and atmosphere both rated a perfect 5.

Exceptional Private Event Experience
My experience at the restaurant was truly great. We went for a private event, and the service was outstanding, making the food an absolute experience. Everything served was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the bread rolls with potatoes. The short ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful. Even though I don't usually like octopus, the starter salad featured it cooked perfectly. The service staff was very attentive and thoughtful, especially in handling our large party. They even created an off-menu vegan alternative for a guest, which made her very happy.

Exceptional Wedding Dinner Experience!
My brother had an intimate wedding dinner here, and needless to say, we will be recommending this place. The people here are great, everyone so warm and welcoming, doing their job with great delight. The chef and the wait staff were just impeccable. I have lots to say about everyone, but the lady called ‘Mel’ was exceptional, kind, and remarkably helpful throughout the set up. People do their job nicely, but others go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The food was fantastic, and the steak went out really fast, a testament to how good it was. Overall, a wonderful night/experience. Thank you, Mathew and Mel❤️

Perfect Wedding Dinner at 25 Lusk!
25 Lusk was the perfect venue for our wedding dinner. We booked a private room and they were able to fully customize our menu and accommodate all our special requests, including allergies. The staff truly went the extra mile, even allowing us to bring our wedding cake the day before. They were a joy to work with throughout the entire process, and we couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere for our wedding night. We will certainly be back next time we are in San Francisco and highly recommend checking them out!

An Artistic and Memorable Feast
My experience at the restaurant was truly artistic, thanks to Chef Matthew Dolan. We visited for their special House of the Dragon-themed feast, and the food was excellent. The chef even came out and hung out with us between courses, which was a great touch. I highly recommend checking out his book, 'Simply Fish, ' for seafood recipes. Overall, we had a great time!

Mixed Experience: Great Cocktails, Uneven Food
My experience at the restaurant was a bit of a mixed bag, ultimately leaving me with a 3. 5-star feeling that could have been 4. I suspect I just ordered the wrong things. My wife had 5-star pancakes with strawberries and syrup and had a 'Harry Met Sally' food-gasm over them. While I'm sure they were awesome, I was dealing with the buyer's remorse of a slightly dry and underwhelming lobster @ bacon roll. Our friend had the octopus Benedict, which was apparently on par with the aforementioned epic pancakes. I tried a bite, and it was pretty damn good. I was left thinking why I didn't save the bacon from my lackluster lobster BLT and use it on the spare eggs Benedict she offered me, or just gotten the burger instead. The road not taken. The cocktails were legit; make sure you order one or several. The Bloody Mary had a special roasted tomato house mix, giving it a smokey rich taste. It wasn't my favorite but was interesting. The Gold Rush with bourbon was epic though; make sure you ask for it off-menu. Dec 2015.

An Unforgettable Culinary Experience
My experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional, by far one of the most curated and thoughtful meals I’ve ever had. Chef Matt Dolan's immense passion for food and serving his patrons was evident throughout the entire meal. The combination of the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience was something that will be hard to beat. I highly highly recommend this establishment!

Horrible Upstairs Experience
My experience at the restaurant was horrible. They made us sit upstairs, and the food was the worst. I strongly advise against sitting upstairs because the horrible heaters do not work.
